All West Apartments & Diving

Absolutely Brilliant. We went with a group of us from Scuba Libre Diving. The appartment was amazing. Clean and well serviced with everything you could need. And the views across the bay were breathtaking with amazing sunsets. The bed was huge and comfortable and the air con was incredible. We were given a BBQ by our hosts which was phenomenal thank you so much. The kit room at the apartments is secure and well ventilated with a tank for rinsing gear and plenty of air for both DIN and INT fittings. The diving was amazing with abundant wildlife the Turtles were amazing and engaged with us whilst diving. The dive centre was friendly and the team really looked after us. The 3 boat dives we did visiting 6 off shore dive sites were varied with knowledgeable dive leaders and boat skippers who took us to feed the iguanas and made the trips just perfect. Having the pick ups really made the trips to other dive sites easy. Do wear boots and adjustable fins though as shore dives the coral is sharp. Fantastic trip and we cannot wait to come back.

The best place for diving holidays. And a very good option to come down. The apartments are comfortable and very clean. They have all sea view and a huge balcony to start the day with an amazing view, exotic birds and curious Leguans. The storage room for the diving equipment is good organised and you can walk directly downstairs to the beach doing a reef dive or for snorkelling.

Where to start. So disappointed in this place. Late pick up No way to get a hold of anyone Wifi out for 2 days and no one cares Not much hot water. Very small heater that lasts for maybe 5 minutes. My RV does better! Dive set up is a pain, constantly locking and unlocking. There has to be a better setup for upstairs apartments Tanks not completely filled Stair hand rail rotted away (there’s a lawsuit waiting to happen!) Tailgate on truck inop making shore diving tough Dive shop is ok but dive sites are not what they used to be. Parrot fish all gone. Fished out? Did see a local spear fishing. Maybe time to try other dive sites.

I was very pleased with my apartment. Everything was clean, modern appliances and furnishings, well-maintained. Check-in and out were an absolute breeze, and the view from my balcony could not be beat! I was very happy with the experience, and will likely stay here again on my next trip to Curacao.

The All West Apartments are not fancy; however, if you are going to Curacao for diving, they are clean, reasonable, and have what you need. Each apartment also has an incredible view. The apartments have the following features that divers need: * an exceptional house reef * secure and well ventilated equipment locker * outdoor rinse off shower for after diving * rinse tank for equipment * air tanks available on site * close to a dive shop (Go West Diving) * balcony for drying equipment, although it dries well in equipment locker * kitchenette (for making a quick breakfast before going diving) * walking distance to good restaurants for dinner They do not have microwaves; however, we did not see any microwaveable dinners at the Centrum Market in Willemstad. If you grew up before microwave ovens were standard kitchen equipment, you know how to do without them. The stove works quite well. The fridge is large and you will want to stock up on food at the Centrum Market after arriving in Curacao. Have your shopping list ready and bring reusable shopping bags. The apartments are completely air conditioned. If there are any issues with your apartment or if you need fresh towels, the apartment manager, Roxy, will take care of it. The Westpunt area is a very quiet, pleasant, and beautiful area of Curacao. When not in the water, I enjoyed seeing and hearing all of the birds in the area.
