Okay so when we first got there the front lobby looked clean and inviting. Once we arrived in our room I was fuming. The smell of urine hits you in the face as you walk in. The furniture in the room was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom you could hardly get into, very dated and looked like the ceiling was caving in. The bed was the worst bed I’ve ever seen in lodging. I grew up poor and it wasn’t up to my standards. I am not uppity but I was disgusted and felt like I was in a crack house. The doors on the front of the building locks were broken. I did not feel safe here at all! I went up to the front office and asked for a refund immediately and was nice about it. She told me no refunds and I said b.s. there is no pool in this facility and it advertises that there is one. False advertising. She said sorry no refunds and that she has tried to change googles listing and couldn’t do it. I said no way because I’m a realtor and that is easy to change. She finally said okay fine I’m not arguing with you. She ripped the no vacancy’s sign off the window and stomped over to the counter and refunded me. Worst experience I cried for two hours. We ended up driving to Marquette that night for a hotel…worth the drive! I can’t believe they charge $200 for this nasty establishment. Younger woman at the counter is unprofessional and has a bad attitude
