Nemacolin

I made a weekend reservation for my husband & two sons, celebrating one son's upcoming wedding. They played golf, enjoyed the many restaurants on site, etc., and as usual, everything was PERFECT! Nemacolin is a family favorite. If you don't love airline travel & are driving distance to this resort, I couldn't recommend it more! And even if you have to fly to get there, Nemacolin will NOT disappoint! Thankful!

Amazing Resort, wonderful staff, beautiful rooms. I went to a wedding summit (Engage), and all ur experience was magical, I cant wait to go back with my family, I love everything about this resort. Also they really know how to throw parties. Amazing host.

We booked Nemacolin for a golf trip, but it was so much more! We stayed at the Lodge, which was just updated fall of 2023. Our room was spacious, high tech, very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfortable. We received coffee to the room every morning and a small gift at turn down every night. Staff in the hotel, on the golf course and shuttle drivers (especially Dawn) were exceptional. The shuttle was always available to pick up and drop off anywhere on the property. Golf courses were challenging but playable and the views were amazing. Our caddie, Sam, was excellent. In addition to golf we enjoyed the newly opened miniature golf course, carousel, pools, new night club (Night Cap), classic cars and walking paths. There was so much more to do, we just didn't have time. I want to mention Dennis at Amber bar who went above and beyond to get our party set up for dinner. Our only frustration was the wait at Fawn and Fable. Be prepared to wait over an hour for a basic breakfast. We did that our first two mornings then we got smart and just went to the Patisserie to pick up breakfast sandwiches. In general all wait times were long for all meals regardless of the restaurant. I also want to mention the gorgeous flowers inside the hotels and restaurants and the perfect landscaping around the property. Statues and art can be found everywhere. It's a very beautiful place with beautiful views, lots do to and friendly staff. I highly recommend this resort!

This review is specifically for lodging at Le Chateau. Stayed at this hotel over Memorial day weekend 2024. Our friends discouraged us from staying at Le Chateau. We knew Le Chateau was recently renovated and plus, that was the only rooms available for that weekend so we booked a room. Overall, it is clean and pretty but some services were spotty. First, there is a motion sensor light under the bed that turns on with every movement. I imagine that it was designed to turn on at night when you put your feet down to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, it turns on with the slightest movement. As a result, the light kept turning on and off all night as we were sleeping. Any turning/movement in bed triggered the light. To say the least, it was a disruptive night’s stay. We did not get coffee in the morning even after making a call down to guest services and waiting 2 hours. For another issue, we called down to guest services for information. They did not have the information after waiting at least 15 mins on the phone, they offered to send someone to the room… we told them specially NOT to send someone. They sent someone anyways. We told the worker male that we (my daughter and I) were in our PJs, meaning “you are not welcomed”…he said “I do not mind” and walked in! On top of all that, he did not even resolve the initial issue. For over $1000/night, the quality was subpar. It felt that the Le Chateau was not quite up and running with subpar service from guest services.

This is a long overdue review. I held an event at Nemacolin in May 2022 with about 60 guests. This was the first event our organization held after the pandemic. The resort is spectacular. We typically do destination events at 5-star resorts 1-2X a year. Having now held several events since May 2022, I can say that Nemacolin greatly exceeded all expectations. Not only were they very reasonably priced, Nemacolin went above and beyond in the event preparations and decor. They are a one-stop-shop when it comes to events and they do absolutely beautiful work. Their rooms were spectacular. Our guests stayed at the Chateau and many commented on its beauty. It was built to resemble Versailles. I've held an event previously at Versailles in France and I can say that Nemacolin can definitely claim this statement. Cyndi was spectacular to work with on our events. Bill was the best florist we've ever worked with. We are exceedingly picky on our florals and we were blown away by Bill's presentation. Everyone at the resort was extremely friendly and welcoming. It can be difficult to find a high-end resort that's not pretentious. Nemacolin was absolutely perfect in that regard. If you go on their website, this becomes evident. They are very welcoming to everyone. There were also tons of different activities for our guests to engage upon. This made it very easy to keep them occupied and having a good time without spending time and money on group transport. We did end up taking our group to Fallingwater which was a great experience. We also took them to a local waterfall enroute which everyone enjoyed. Frankly I think Nemacolin is one of the best kept high-end resort secrets in the U.S.. We hosted some very discerning guests who travel all over the world staying at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, etc. and they all loved it. Pulling that off with a shoestring event budget to work with is nearly an impossibility but Nemacolin beyond delivered. Very appreciated!

This was the best experience. Not only are the facilities beautiful and grand, the service is top notch, spa was extremely relaxing and the food delicious! So many things to see and do. I highly recommend!

I am currently stayin at the Nemacolin Resort. I have been going to Nemacolin Resort for years. There is no place on the east coast of the USA that can top this resort. I hate chain resorts they don't offer the person to staff ratio. Even the clientele seems to blend in with the personality and the ambiance. I am black and I only come here and bring other family member because I'm not paying $1000k per night for drama and get kicked out. If people here don't like me because of my color I can't tell. Yes I said it! Nemacolin Resort will always be my second home💝.

Everything was great. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They property is beautiful and breathtaking. There are many activities offered.
