Baymont by Wyndham Bellingham

Before arrival i requested a double bed room for two nights. Upon arrival I was told my room was double booked and I had to get a single bed room for 4 people. Then magically a two bed room was available after complaining. I was then told that my card had to be ran again because I was not given the two nights requested. Upon entry of the room It was the most disgusting establishment I’ve ever encountered, hair clogging the tub with others peoples Bodily fluid, dirt and grime, paper of some sort all in the drain. I took video of the drain during the process because my time was very limited I was there for a wedding that my whole family was staying in the hotel and we were all from out of town and I live over six hours away and was very tired and needed to shower so I had no choice but to unclog the drain myself and in the process some thing in the drain cut the side of my finger as shown in the video the tool that I was using was not even nowhere near able to cut the side of my finger. I showed the video to the young man at the front desk. He viewed it and made notes. I’ve complained everyday since checking in until today which is almost a whole week later. Still no one has got in touch with me about my complaints. Customer service is a whole issue as well. Don’t know if it was because I am a BLACK TRANS MALE The older female that ran the front during the day time was rude and non emphatic as well as unapologetic to my complaints. I’ve never been treated so poorly. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone let alone stay here ever again. And of course it won’t allow me to add the video.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bellingham

This was a very nice hotel in a great area. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. Great breakfast with eggs and sausage and potatoes and biscuits and gravy and all sorts or food. Also 24 hour access to juice and coffee and tea. They even have a little store at the front with some food and frozen meals and whatnot. The pool was obviously not used very often or something. It just looked a bit forgotten but we still enjoyed it so 5 stars all around
Guest House Bellingham

We were pleased with our stay in both rooms 316 and 317. 316 had a big king bed, while 317 had 2 queens. We missed breakfast all 3 days (only served until 9am) but had a comfortable stay. We walked 15 min to enjoy the breweries and restaurants downtown and took an inexpensive Uber to the other sights we wanted to see. It was lovely having Woods coffee adjacent. We will return!

Everyone was polite. The room had a fridge and microwave. It was clean outside, and the room was also. It is close to a lot of places to eat and visit. The freeway is also close by the hotel. We will stay again as we travel back home
Comfort Inn Bellingham

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Bellingham, Washington for 6 nights in February 2020. We were visiting a close relative in the hospital for the last few days of their life. Our original plan was to stay for 3 nights but our stay was extended two times first for one night, then for two more. Each time we contacted the hotel to confirm the extension and prepaid the stay while reserving the same room for simplicity. Our concerns have to do with hygiene and housekeeping. Hotel renovations moved the breakfast room to a small conference room which created understandable congestion. However, we found a long hair in the fresh tray of eggs one morning. The sheets on our bed were not changed for the entire 6 nights of our stay. We know this because my wife had a small scab on her elbow that cracked and bled a few drops of blood on the first night and the bloodied sheet was never changed during our entire stay. I even pointed it out to the night manager after the 5th night, who assured me he would pass on the concern to housekeeping. We discovered the next night sheets still had not been changed. The hotel reflects its age. The hide-a-bed that my daughter slept in was broken down and sagged making her stay very uncomfortable. I am sorry to report this inn experience was a disappointment and warrants reconsideration if hygiene is important. Interestingly, the hotel in response to my similar comments on their website simply requested we give them another chance. Why should we?
