I found the property to be very pretty and clean. I enjoyed that there is a Starbucks on-site as well as nice places to eat. We found our room to be adequate, clean, and quiet. I had a small problem with check-in that I found disheartening. I had booked my reservation using a reward night through my AmEx Marriott Bonvoy credit card, which I completed through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Somehow, it managed to book a reservation with the reward night and used 31,000 of my Marriott Bonvoy points simultaneously for two reservations. The front desk came across as unhelpful and told me this was my mistake and there was nothing they could do to fix it. I was told I could cancel my reservation and would forfeit the 31,000 points. To me, this is an easy fix that was made to be complicated (and still not fixed). After experiencing similar disappointing customer service with IHG, I was hoping to make Marriott Bonvoy the primary properties we stay with for all our sports travel, which is extensive. This experience has caused me to rethink that plan, unfortunately, as I do enjoy the properties themselves but was turned off by the customer service.
