We loved the new rooms in the cart house. We’ve stayed in the other rooms in the main building too but the new rooms are the best :-)

Although an old pub the stay itself was great - some friends had twin rooms in the main pub itself and some in the annex - the rooms were clean and cosy

Good size room with good facilities and a comfortable bed. Easy check-in and helpful staff. Good bar and restaurant. The pub car park is rather small however there is a good amount of on road parking close by and a free overnight open car park within walking distance.

The pub part was quite nice, but there was a lack of parking and the rooms are considerably more shabby than the photos would suggest. Very noisy macerator toilet. No hot water in the shower.
I booked a superior double room, the first room was tiny and didn’t have a bath (picture suggested a roll top bath), so I was moved to a family room, which was ok, but really in need of a refresh. Bathroom was very tired.

The hotel has been upgraded since my last stay.
The rooms inside the pub are clean but basic with very creaky floors.
The staff are excellent and friendly.

Very convenient placed hotel. Very clean with helpful and pleasant staff. Good food and a**osphere. Can be noisy in the evening as it is a popular local hostelry. Parking is very limited but there is free parking available nearby.

Excellent roast dinner with warm and friendly staff. We had pork and turkey and there was plenty of it!! Roasts and Yorkshires were tasty with a jug of gravy each on the side. Have eaten here previously and although it was good before I would say it’s much improved. Will definitely be back
