Elysian Luxury Eco Island Retreat
4.7/544 Reviews
I was lucky enough to stay at this wonderful retreat for a friend's 50th and my expectations were well exceeded. I knew we'd be relaxing in well appointed rooms on a secluded island but I was not expecting the food to be as good. It was better than anything I've eaten in Melbourne restaurants of late and that's no offense to those eateries. The food at Elysian is that good. I can't recall ever tasting a better satay than our lunch on day 1. It only got better from there. I'd also like to praise the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had some poor weather days but it didn't stop the fun. Thanks to the excellent Bunny as our main host, the skilled kitchen staff and excellent yoga instructor and all those who helped with the water sports, the spa, etc. 10/10.
Palm Bungalows

The island is not large. The main hotels on the island are concentrated on catseye beach, and checkin is in the same reef hotel next door. Overall good, the staff I saw were basically smiling service. The room was a bit small, so it was called a bungalow, with a kitchen and no oven. Baby kangaroos can be seen at the door in the morning and dusk.
Reef View Hotel

We didn’t stay at reef view but we had a magnificent meal there. Our server Fe (Felicity) was fantastic and her wit and charm made it a great night out for the 4 of us. We have hadgreat service all overAustralia but we rated Fe as the best so far.

The entire island is basically a group contract, and the plane will be picked up by a special car after flying directly to the airport. The facilities are older because they were built earlier. But overall it is relatively new. The scenery is nice. It is also more convenient to go to Great Barrier Reef. Overall is good.
Palm Bay Resort

No breakfast, no lunch, no dinner, and an island. After two and a half in the afternoon, I can order pizzas of several flavors. There are no TVs, no local calls, few hotel waiters, and they all have multiple jobs. But you can enjoy the tranquility of this island. There is only one flight from Hamilton to the island. There are two shifts to Hamilton Island. It is not clear to go to Airlie Beach. There is no Chinese service on the island. You can buy several kinds of vegetables, dairy products, alcohol, steak, and bacon. You need to record what you have taken on the book, but the waiters on the island are still very enthusiastic. There is a public kitchen for dinner at your own pace. You want to be on a quiet holiday, you can come here, you want to enjoy the service and get around here.

This place is very good, the view is very wide, it is a villa-style room, and the hotel offers a free golf cart, of course, you must bring a driver's license and translation.
