The place was very average, more for fly in fly out workers. We stayed in what they call a 2 bedroom deluxe cabin. There are no trees at all on the property, very uninviting. Close to main the road and you can hear traffic (trucks) at night. My colleague and I were there for work. We cooked several nights of our stay, but cooking utensils were limited. Beds ok, only 1 bathroom. I would not stay again.

This is a nice place to stay if you are visiting Whyalla or transiting up north, down south or further west.
The place is well maintained and the staff ready to help; just ask and they will guide you through.
Whyalla had it';s hottest day while I visited. So it was baking hot outside but the cabins provided the chill that I needed.
Thanks to the team here. I have all but praise to them.

This park is well suited for foraging, for 2 reasons. First, the park is situated close to the Whyalla wetlands which provide an idyllic setting from which the local mosquitoes can forage. Secondly, unlike most other caravan parks, there is no boom gate at the entrance so the park itself provides a lovely environment for the local indigenous Australians to drive through late in the evening to forage from visiting vehicles and to display their traditional Ford Falcons and Toyota Corollas. Otherwise the cabins are new and reasonably clean.

My family siblings have stayed here quite a few times over the last 3 years during my brother's illness. His time is coming to an end, but we have found the best accommodation for our needs and there was plenty of room in the dining area. I would love a recliner for my back, but we were too tired to stay up and watch the telly, haha. Thanks for the short notice accommodation availability, really appreciated that.
