Was not a fan of the unattended check-in. There are no employees available at the check-in lobby and it is all done on a self-serve kiosk that eventually dispenses your room keys. The room was great, and the breakfast even better! Wide variety of choices to eat, and the self-serve espresso machine was appreciated.

We booked the junior suite. The self check-in is very practical. The rooms are clean and spacious. It has a kitchen (with plates, but no pots and cutlery) with a long bar table and chairs, a kettle and a coffee machine including capsules. The minibar was free. (Water, soft drinks and beer). The bedroom and living room/kitchen are separate and each have a small flat-screen TV. The WiFi is free. The bathroom with a rain shower is small. But it's enough for one person. The breakfast buffet offers enough choice. Price/performance is top!

This is quite decent hotel in a quiet yet secluded area of a small town. The food, ambiance and service in the adjacent restaurant were great. The fully digital check in worked very well. However, in case of any complications, there is no WiFi connection available in the lobby. For anyone using a non European smartphone via WiFi (to avoid expensive Swiss data roaming), there is no way to get in touch with a local support if any urgent issues arise with the check in.
Our more concerning experience is around safety/security (or lack of). During our dinner at the hotel restaurant, we were bullied by two (possibly intoxicated) men who scared us and brought our children to tears. We felt unprotected in this zero staff hotel. The restaurant was practically empty, the only other person there was the waitress. What is one to do in the case of danger?

Automatic checkin worked fine. Room average but ok+. Industrial area but a very nice wine bar 100 m from the hotel. Breakfast ok but a lot of flies on the meat and cheese (not covered).

Self check-in takes some getting used to for older people. Dead silence in the corridors, a bit soulless. Clean, fairly large rooms with large windows. Beds reasonably comfortable. Bathroom average, with shower only, quite good. Enough towels, thank you! Very quiet location, large free parking lot with plane trees that will provide shade in the summer. Luckily there is the hotel restaurant opposite, which we can highly recommend!

The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. You immediately feel at home. The self check-in is quick and uncomplicated. The restaurant has wonderful food, a great garden and very friendly staff. We would love to come back.
