We booked the beautiful new hotel as part of the Wiesbaden Marathon! The price was great, the hotel was beautiful, big and clean. Premier Inn hotels are usually good city hotels with modern amenities. I have personally stayed in more than 6 Premier Inns in Germany. One thing I do have to criticize, however, is that the staff are often not friendly. That was the case yesterday too! We arrived at 2.20pm and wanted to check in. We were immediately told that check-in was from 3pm!! If we had been there at 1pm or earlier, I would have understood, or if the hotel was so full that the rooms weren't ready. That's not how I understood it!! Especially since the gentleman, who didn't speak German that well, simply addressed the guests informally. That's not okay! After 15 minutes we were able to check in. A nice gentleman who spoke good German did that. I just don't understand how such unfriendly staff can work at reception! First impressions count! Conclusion, as is often the case with Premier Inns: good hotel, often available at a good price! Staff could be friendlier though!
