Nous venons de passer quelques jour dans ce magnifique Riad. TOUT le personnel est absolument charmant et bienveillant, aux petits soins, toujours souriant et prêt à aider. Les chambres que nous avons eues étaient parfaites, très propres et confortables. Là atmosphère générale est très zen. La cuisine est très bonne, le petit déjeuner est copieux (juste une suggestion d’amélioration : nous aurions aimé avoir du thé de meilleure qualité). Nous reviendrons certainement !

I stayed in this hotel in March 2024. Mixed feelings: the hotel had several pros, but also a few cons. Pros: good location at the edge of the medina + if you have a car (which we did) there is ample, secure and free parking + rooms are really clean + good breakfast + very nice rooftop terrace & (small) pool. Cons: somehow this hotel has a need to play music from early in the morning to 22:30-ish. Music taste is subjective and if you are into Glenn Medeiros and like cheesy Scorpion versions you may like it, but for most it is not great + as it is on all day it is hard to relax in your room during the day. Then: staff start moving around at 7 AM with little regard for customers + as apparently there is no storage room all stuff (vacuum cleaners, extra chairs and pillows etc) is stored in the hall + staff is friendly but no more than that - a high level of indifference and there is no heart in it. This hotel has the ingredients to stand out, but it lacks the fine touches to really lift it up. Please stop the music, store equipment in a separate room and, most importantly, if the staff truly cared this would be a great stay. As it is, the price is too high: this hotel is NOT worth €175 p/n.For this price I would expect a truly caring staff which is not the case today. Simon.

Riad superbe! Personnel adorable et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont propres et décorées avec goût, tout confort et très bien équipées. Piscine sur le toit avec vue panoramique sur la médina. Petit déjeuner copieux, service restauration et Spa très agréable.

Great modern hotel on the edge of the medina in Fes. Wonderful breakfast and staff were friendly. The background music was sometimes a bit too loud, but they turned it down when asked. Great location for accessing the medina and also the gardens in Fes

We spontaneously booked two nights at Riad Dar Lys in Fez and what a wonderful surprise! Our stay exceeded all our expectations! The room was magnificent, exemplary clean, and was able to accommodate our three children perfectly without any problem. An intoxicating a**osphere of Moroccan scents reigned throughout the Riad, and the staff was not only attentive, but also extremely kind. The icing on the cake was the rooftop swimming pool, which our children delighted in. As parents, we particularly appreciated the secure parking as well as the ideal location of the Riad, which allowed us to easily get to the various tourist sites. Finally, the lunches were excellent, a real treat for the taste buds! We highly recommend Riad Dar Lys in Fez to anyone who wants an authentic, comfortable and enriching experience in the heart of Morocco. We will not hesitate to return there during our next visit to Fez. A big thank you to the entire Riad team for this memorable stay!

It is a riad hotel opened very recently, outside the medina but still very close. Nice room, well equipped. Minibar, Nespresso machine and tea. TV with some French-speaking channels. Breakfast, very generous and very good. Impeccable service, helpful and friendly. We ate twice at the hotel restaurant. Tasty Moroccan and European dishes. Also very filling. To recommend.

Dar Lys Riad is a scam!!! A hotel pretending to be luxurious that doesn't allow its guests to choose the room temperature, and has a front desk employee who argues with you. We're sleeping with windows open, breathing in smoke-filled air, and hearing every step on the street because we can't close the windows BECAUSE the air conditioning is central, a SHAME!!! Unable to sleep, staff passing by with garbage cans!!! Luxury Riad??? Joke!!! I won't recommend it to anyone and will do my best to show the truth about this place!!! Stay at Riad Fès but don't stay at this Dar Lys!!! Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed!!!
