Prix assez cher par rapport à la qualité.
Il n’y avait ni de chauffage/clim , ni de bouteille d’eau, ni de mouchoir.
Plus d’eau chaude un moment.
Pas d’ascenseur, heureusement que nous étions au premier étage et pas très très chargé (2 petites valises et des sacs) mais l’hote n’a tout de même pas proposé son aide.
Pour le petit déjeuner, l’hôte vous prépare uniquement des œufs mélangés à d’autres aliments, très bon mais un peu léger pour moi. Pas beaucoup de choix.
Attention , ne pas prévoir de faire des siestes car vous serez vite réveillé par l’aboiement de ses chiens, qui aboient très très fort .

The service was average. No breakfast was offered due to out of season time. The 5 star touch was missing, No special treats like a chocolate on the pillow or a bottle of drinking water was given. The rooms was serviced everyday. The sleep quality was average and even after mentioning the very hard bed to the owner, nothing was done. We had to buy our own water to make Coffey in the morning. The lights in the room was insiviecient to try and read a maggazine while relaxing i bed.

Incredible views over the lake, large, spacious and well equipped rooms. Location can’t be beaten! Pool was lovely with great outlook. Very friendly and generous owner with lovely pets.

Super location in a grand modern but stylefull villa beautiful views over the lake and from our balcony a idyllic morning coffee Very nice owner There were some small maintenance problems but they were solved We had a great time You need a car though

Our stay at the Lodge on the Lake, on the Arrival: Wednesday, 03 January 2024 and Departure: Thursday, 04 January 2024 was absolutely exceptional. The stay itself surpassed all of our expectations, but a few things to highlight were: 1 The exceptional welcome and service given to us by the hosts CJ (Basie) and his wonderful wife. 2. The room and the views are simply spectacular. 4. The personalized breakfasts and service at breakfast. 5. the fantastic swimming pool and the view from the pool.

Very pretty room with everything needed; beautiful view of the lake from the bed and balcony, with table & chairs outside; access to the pool and stylish and comfortable communal area; very friendly and welcoming host; great location.

Lodge on the lake has amazing views when exceptional service from the hosts. We had made last minute decisions and they accommodated as beyond our expectation. My only complaint would be that the Wi-Fi does not reach all the way to the room, but it did not take away from the experience.
