"This is our third stay as a family. We stayed July 2023, September 2023 and July 2025. We love it here. Grounds are well kept, very very clean rooms and maid service comes everyday. Very quiet at night. Short walk to the beach. The owners and staff are all very nice. We will be back again!"

We really like how friendly the staff was, especially Yash, he let our’s and our friends car stay parked hours after we checked out and even let us use their spare bathroom to help us change after our beach trip, even though were not their guests anymore. "I love this place, I go every year, I wouldn’t go any where else. The rooms are nice and they are very clean. The best part of this motel is the mgr Leslie, she is so nice and extremely accommodating . She has been so helpful with any issues that have occurred , she’s makes you feel like family instead of just a visitor. I am going back twice this year, I look forward to the stay and seeing Leslie again. Highly recommend this place, it’s now my home away from home! I hope this place knows what a great mgr they have"

"We had a truly amazing stay at Apollo Motel, perfectly located just steps from the beach. Our room was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool was warm, clean, and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. What really made the experience special, though, were the owners—they were so friendly and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. It felt more like visiting friends than staying at a motel. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon!"

"I love everything about this place. Not sure what the poor reviews are about regarding Ginny, she was lovely and helpful. The motel is very charming and one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Despite the age of the facilities, you can tell it is meticulously cared for and maintained. The location is fantastic too. I’d stay here again in a minute."

"Rooms were small, bed had plastic sheet and sheets not clean and even ripped…carpet stained. Small window ac and can only give ac for 1 room. No elevator to carry luggage. Not sure how it got 3 stars , and high rating. Paid over $300k per night and not at all worth for that price."

"I stayed at the Beach Colony from July 8th to the 12th 2026 and had the best time. I have been staying at this Motel for years so I’ve stayed here multiple times at this point. My room was always extremely clean and well kept, the pool was always very clean, the amenities are beautiful. I absolutely love the staff! They are all amazing people, especially Leslie who runs the motel. She was so accommodating to me regarding my autistic 14-year-old son. She was able to book me a room on the ground floor because of my son‘s physical disabilities. I absolutely love this Motel and literally just booked another night in August. I would never stay anywhere else! I really just love the atmosphere of this motel because it is very family oriented and it is also pet friendly. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, very nice and clean rooms, amazing staff, great pool and great amenities look no further than the Beach Colony Motel! Please note: the pictures I have attached to this are screenshots from the video I took of my room. We stayed in Room 3 and it had 1 queen size bed, and 1 bedroom with a single bed which is where my 14 year-old son slept. We also had: mini fridge, microwave, tv and Keurig (we brought our own coffee pot though)."

"We absolutely loved every moment of our stay! The location couldn’t be better—you’re literally steps from the beach, which made sunrise walks and evening sunsets feel like a dream. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming; they truly go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. We especially appreciated the BBQ grills and private deck, which made for some really special evenings. You can tell the property is well cared for and thoughtfully run. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beachfront escape with a personal touch, this is the place. We can’t wait to return!"

"Stayed here with a group of families for a tournament, so I really didn’t know what I was in for. I was truly surprised by this hotel. We checked in very late and the hotel was kind enough of to give us a call to check on our ETA and provide instructions as the lobby closes after a particular time. We had a pool facing room on the 2nd floor. Our room was VERY clean and had a great amount of space for a family of four. A small table in the room along with a decent size fridge and microwave. It had that whole retro vibe going so I didn’t expect it to be modern and new. The sheets were very soft, the only complaint I had was that the pillows were way too small and flat. I ended up asking for additional pillows the next day and that helped tremendously. Our kids enjoyed the pickleball court and pool. We took advantage of the grills and sitting area. We also ordered from the grill a few times. Everything we needed was right there and it was a short walk to the beach. You can tell this is a family run property and they take pride in their hotel. We did wish the pool was open a little bit later. Quiet hours were strongly enforced, which we didn’t mind. Overall I would highly recommend this place."

"The room was OK, simple and clean, with a small stove and kitchenware, and the refrigerator was a normal refrigerator, which was sufficient. But the bathroom is very small, and there are some minor problems with the faucet and toilet. The TV is broken, but we didn't have much need for it, so we gave up watching it... The stairs in the public area are rather simple. I'm not sure if it's a hygiene issue or because it's too close to the beach. The iron stairs are a bit rusty, and the corners are basically full of garbage. The hygiene of the public areas is not up to standard. The main advantage of this motel is its location. It is very convenient to walk to the beach. There is good parking space, which is very convenient. The swimming pool is not big, but the children have a lot of fun playing there."
