Came here a few years ago and it was ok so thought we would give it another go and glad we did ,very nice Sunday lunch very good service.It was very busy and we did think we would wait a while but no it came very fast they even gave us extra gravy .One of our friends had the curry and he enjoyed it none of us had pudding as we were full .

Would like to say a massive thank you to the wonderful staff for providing such an amazing evening on Saturday 2nd March, for my Dad and Uncle's "special numbers" birthday. We were so well looked after from the moment we arrived, myself and husband enjoyed every morsel of our food. My Auntie and Uncle's fish and chips looked really good, so we will be ordering that next time! Thank you for all your hard work and giving us an evening to remember, and we look forward to returning.

Was expecting a quite country pub
Turned up no where to park it was heaving there was noise till gone midnight and the tv in the room didn’t work when my friend told the staff they just said they would make a note I guess they were busy. Did how ever make up a take away breakfast bag which had a bottle of water and 2 small pastry’s in which was better than nothing.

I stayed at Pollards Inn a couple to times and miss it when I can't get back in there when it's fully booked. It has a limited number of rooms which means it's the opposite of a chain / big hotel. The rooms are always good, the breakfasts are excellent (locally sourced bacon) and the beds comfortable. In the summer you might get an alarm call from the cows on the surrounding farmland but it's a nice way to woken up. The a staff are always very friendly and there's plenty of parking. Your satnav might take you to the Memorial Hall dead end by mistake but it's the Buckley Lane car park you need to aim for.
