We arrived at 4:00 and our room wasn’t ready until after 5:00 which after a long day of traveling was a bit frustrating. However, they were accommodating for the inconvenience and made reservations for us at the neighboring Mexican restaurant at the Rif which was delicious. We met Ray, one of the guest ambassadors, who spent time showing us around the resort and giving us the low down on the best places and things to do. He recommended heading down to Punda to shop and take in the local cuisine and shopping. He also pointed out the sea turtles and where to see them which was amazing. Unfortunately the hotel had a hot water issue and we were without hot water for four of the six days we were at the resort.

They do sell them at the gift shop and are available for rest at the front office. Overall hotel service is exceptional and helpful. Food was great a 5/5, food veriaty of food including vegetarian options. The hotel landscape is huge with beautiful sceneries and the pool is the main attraction. The Waterpark is very nice.I want to first mention that 220 to 110 adapters are needed to bring if you have your own. Sushi restaurant was good. The rooms are exceptionally clean and beds were made daily and towels get changed everyday and refrigerator gets replenished daily aswell. Alrick was great aswell as RJ and Swen. Ray has been nice and we had a nice conversation with him.

Nice people and enviroment, food always available and thte employees always kindly. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and AC is awesome and works super nice because of the heat currently in Curacao. The restaurants are lovely too. Nice people and enviroment, food always avaiable and the employees always kindly! The rooms are lovely and comfortable and AC is awesome and works super nice becase of the heat currently in Curacao. The beach has some stones but is nice. The sea feels amazing and nice beach beds. Ray has been very kind and is always ready to help where he can with resolving issues.

Relaxing, welcoming & calm. Gracious, welcoming staff. Beautiful grounds & lovely pool/cabana area. Room was spacious, well stocked and quiet. Hospitality was spectacular & we felt comfortable & safe on the property. The only suggestion I would make is placing large circulating fans around the resort. Special thanks to Yasin & Merve

Great staff specially Yasin & Merve are great and friendly people. The hotel in general was okay it is not a luxury resort but for a island hotel it is okay. The pool area was clean and beautiful we enjoyed spending time there. The beach area was also great.

This “resort” left a lot to be desired. It’s a nice looking place to stay in curaçao but the employees were not welcoming or of any service. Upon check in my partner and I were barely greeted by a slender blonde woman wearing a very revealing top. This employee refused to speak and/or acknowledge my partners presence and barely spoke to me. She was training another employee and wasn’t welcoming at all. We were robbed of our comfort on the first two nights due to the AC shutting off automatically. We spoke with a manager on the third day and she agreed to move us to a different room. As for it being “all inclusive”, don’t be fooled by that. It’s a self-serve at best. Don’t expect anyone to come take a drink order from you or to even act like they’re there to help you. The most service I got was at the coffee shop, which made great coffee. My partner and I never went to dinner and chose to eat at outside restaurants because the staff would walk past us at breakfast and lunch wasn’t any better. Their “restaurants” are just tables lined up all together in one dining area with barely any employees to take an order. The drinks are watered down and taste strange, your best bet is to stick to beer and/or wine because the cocktails here aren’t good. And the alcohol is bottom shelf, not even a bottle of Bacardi. House keeping will not replenish your mini bar fridge unless you let them come into your room to clean. And the room service option doesn’t exist. It’s advertised but it’s false, my partner and I tried multiple times and not once did anyone come bring us anything that was requested. Lastly checkout was carelessly done. I’ve stayed at a few all inclusive resorts. This is the ONLY resort that didn’t remove the band that grants access to the resort amenties. I found that very strange. Just stay elsewhere, there were maybe 3 employees that I could say positive things about. Aishka, Merve and the young lady in the coffee shop whose name I never got.

The views of my room were breathtaking, and I loved relaxing by the beach palapas. Being the hottest period in curacao the pool room was exactly what we needed. Merve from concierge was friendly and always had a smile, making sure I had everything I needed. Timo from the welcome desk also fantastic his local tips helped me discover some great spots on the island. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to come back!

The resort is beautiful, but as many have stated, it is not very well managed. We ordered room service and did not get it until the next day, this was after calling and even going to reception a few times and advising them of the issue and to cancel it. I don’t see the value on the Rif side vs the mangrove side. (Seems like anyone can go where they want without any issues, kind of defeats the purpose) Food was pretty good, but the alcohol was terrible. The staff can be a hit or miss, and I think they definitely need more training in order to be able to deliver the type of service they advertise. The restaurant situation is bizarre, you walk in sit yourself and hope someone comes over to help. There is nothing going on at the Rif side, no entertainment what’s so ever. We tipped but even that didn’t do much. We lost power one night for about 30 mins and after that the ac did not work the same. This was my second time to Curacao and I should have gone back to Sunscape.
