The grounds and units are huge and beautiful. It's really a pretty location. However, the staff is very green and not always helpful. Some of the facilities are in disarray (dryer and dishwasher didn't work in the unit, hot tubs and steam room were not working for the entire week) and they didn't cordon off one of the hot tubs when the filter wasn't working, which was a little gross. Also, the management isn't great. There was rarely a manager on duty. They didn't warn us about scheduled roof construction work right across from our unit, so construction began next to and over our car. They waited two hours after construction began at 7am to ask us to move our car, but by that time, the trucks and lifts, and tools were deployed inches from our car. Just discourteous. When we complained to management, a manager was not present and no one got back to us after leaving a note with the new check-in desk staff (who were sweet, but didn't know how to respond because they said they were new). Also, the sales team had great discounted tickets to Busch Gardens (awesome deal and worth the two hour presentation), but the financial team was comically unprofessional and rude. It didn't bother us as we wanted to get out of there anyway (and we still got the discounted tickets after two hours of presentation), but I've never seen sales staff say "I'm outta here" and walk out in a huff leaving us at the table alone. Very unprofessional, but acceptable. Also, the smoke alarms were RIDICULOUSLY sensitive. I can understand setting them off when cooking bacon or something like that. But, with nothing else going on, I toasted an English muffin in the toaster...two halves in a two slot toaster...and it didn't even brown the English muffin yet (setting was on "2" out of 10) and the alarm went off. Eggs, bacon, pasta...everything we cooked (and cooked well and safely) set the alarm off. It was really frustrating at first, and then it got hilarious. And it wasn't just us. When we would walk to the aquatic center, we heard three or four alarms going off at other units throughout the day. Comical. All in all, if you get a great deal, it's a fine location. the units are huge. The grounds are very pretty. However, I definitely wouldn't pay full price to stay or expect everything to be in good working order. Also wouldn't expect much help from the staff during your stay. There were 3 out of 8 people working the desk who were helpful. The other 5 were either rude or ignored you.

RCI website says that there are heated outdoor pools. Kings Creek website does not say that. None of them are heated except the inside aquatic center which is very dark and super steamy.

It was a restful week as I recovered from surgery. The snow was beautiful the neighbors were friendly and the facility accommodated what we needed. We chose to own a timeshare there because we like it so much.

We visited, the Jamestown and Williamsburg area was pretty okay. If you attend the sales presentation, this is the only location we were ever lied to, after attending several presentations at other locations. If you have to attend a presentation that’s okay, but do not purchase anything, the sales people are liars, the managers are crooks. We were defrauded by them.

We liked our 3-bedroom unit very much. Parking space next to unit made it easy to get luggage and food to and from our unit. We took advantage of a U.S. premiere exhibit of Paul McCartney photos of the Beatles in the early 1960’s called. “Eyes of the Storm.” It runs to April 7 at the Chrysler Museum in nearby Norfolk. Admission is free, and no parking fee either. We like King’s Creek which is near the center of the Historic Triangle — Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown.

This is a nice resort. We come here with family once a year. We always get the 3 bedroom unit. It very spacious and clean. It time to upgrade the furniture and some UpToDate televisions. The beds are pretty conformable. Its a very family friendly resort !!!

An excellent location for all the attractions in the area - Watersplash Park is next door, Busch Garden's is 5 minutes away, Colonial Williamsburg can be reached from several directions - Rt 60 east end of CW & 199 around to S. Henry to come in on west end near college of William & Mary. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Living-dining-kitchen areas were compact but quite sufficient. Unit 302A is tucked away at the end of a cul d' sac which was nice and quite and away from resort traffic.

This is a truthful review of Kings Creek resort. We have stayed at this resort several times over the years. However, things have changed. There is sales pressure at this location to buy a timeshare, like nothing I have previously seen. Used care sales people are easier to deal with. I would call the sales pitches outright harassing . The properties have also definitely deteriorated. Our upstairs toilet was broken as well as the in-unit washer. Blinds were stuck open or closed. It took several calls to get maintenance to look at the more serious issues. There was fresh paint slopped on the toilet tank and on the wood trim. The second floor banister was comically loose. The front desk staff ranged from high pressure buy it now sales-hype personalities to one unmotivated young lady who could not have cared less about much of anything. Truly a mess, both staff and physical plant wise. Vacation Village and Powhatten Plantation are both much nicer. I would never stay here again, and I feel very sorry for anyone who bought a timeshare here, as not only are timeshares a waste of money, but this place would make you regret that poor decision even faster.
