Food and beds are TERRIBLE and they tack on $40/day RESORT FEES on top of the room charge. The beds were lumpy and old and the pillows were flat. My in-laws (who came with us) said their beds were lumpy and couldn't sleep. And the rooms are dark caves. NOTE that in June they're also going to tack on PARKING FEE of $15/day even though the hotel is in the middle of nowhere (not like they're hurting for space in the parking lot). The water park is ok, but everything else is a joke. The pressure to buy some overpriced pass for activities that aren't as expensive as the pass, the made up "MagicQuest" game to get you to buy their junk, the overpriced arcade and "bowling" -- it's all a scam. And the FOOD WAS AWFUL. $20/day for a breakfast buffet that was lower quality than the free buffet at Hampton Inns. The burger place in the water park churned out day-old buns and burgers and fries that were neither fresh nor hot. And they were overpriced. If this place improved their beds and food, perhaps we'd go back. But with these HIDDEN FEES and pathetic food, we don't plan to return.

We loved Great Wolf. Room was clean and of reasonably priced food on property. Kids LOVED waterpark. No need to leave the hotel the two nights we were there.

Pool park was the subject of our visit, if you are looking for only that is fine but the Hotel has no internet and Mobile coverage is only for calls. The TVs are old so we connected our “travel kit” which is a Firestick butt it was impossible to use it because of the internet… so for the kids only the pool was fine, according to them the rest was boring and they prefer to go home and return in the morning. So for the budget to sleep in the hotel is not worthy

Check in/check out was very smooth, although their room key bracelets made of sharp plastic scratched my wrist and had to be cut off. Other resorts with these combination wrist bands/room keys have done it so much better - such as rubber bracelets that don't scratch your skin. Lots of luggage carts available, which was a welcomed plus. Plenty of activities for the kids, but many are not announced/advertised. We didn't know about dance parties, yoga, bingo, story time, and several other things that occurred in the main area and only discovered they were going on by passing through on the way to something else. A daily event schedule would have been nice at check in. All of the activities were fun, but be aware that the MagiQuest is meant for older kids that can read and follow the quest, and takes hours and hours to finish everything. It keeps them entertained as long as they understand the tasks. Youngsters will need an adult to go everywhere with them to explain and guide them to the next task. Keep the wand that you get for the event, as it stores what has been done so far and can be used to continue on a future visit. Bowling was fun, as was the Laser Tag. CAUTION - there is some kind of sticky coating to the inside walls of the laser tag room that will come off on your hand and clothing if you lean on the wall while watching your kids play. It was like paint that eventually could be scrubbed off my skin, but would not come out of the sleeve and shoulder of my shirt. The arcade was like a Chucky Cheese, but with better games that worked better. Ticket winnings were decent, prizes were ok. The room was clean and nice. Plenty of towels, all the drains worked properly. However, the bed was one of most uncomfortable I have experienced in a long time. We were on the top floor at the end of the hall, so noise was not a problem. The breakfast buffet was very good - once. But the exact same items offered the next day was kind of discouraging. Overall, it was a very good trip for us. We will be back if only to complete their quest

Overall, a good value for a family of four. The room was decent, but noisy (more later). The waterpark was pretty good. Kids had a great time. A detailed breakdown for those who want specifics: The good: - Check in was easy, fast, and smooth. - Under $200 for a hotel room and water park for four? Tough to beat. - Everything worked in the park and the room! - Room was clean The bad: - The room was incredibly noisy. The beds, the doors, the folks around us... - The bunk beds are awfully short. I get they are for kids, but my 9 and 12 yo really couldn't fit comfortably. The meh: - The lifeguards were mostly indifferent. Of course they made the usual production about all the places they are looking, but in terms of interacting on slides, etc, they seemed pretty rote. A few were a little more lively. - Ordering Dunkin on line was a nice feature to save the line, but they were out of items we were allowed to order....seems like a major flaw. Overall not bad. Certainly would not stay more than one night as you can do everything you need. We got there around 1:00 and were tuckered out by about 5:30. Then we did about four more hours the next morning before leaving. That was plenty. Try to not eat there (we had a great experience at the Huntsman next door!)

Scams on President’s Day Sale:BOGO. They pull a bait and switch on you. They advertise getting two nights for the price of one but when you go to check out they charge for both. I added the promo then choose the dates and in my cart it said with a green check “promo added”. I called to find out what was going on and they said it only applies to “certain dates” but here is the catch! There is no way for you to see which dates it applies to. It tells you it’s been applied to your dates and confirms it with a check. They told me over the phone that only they can tell which dates it applies to. It’s sooo shady. I wrote another review on Google warning people about it and guest services asked me to reach out to them and I did and they never responded. So they falsely and illegally advertise promos and when it doesn’t work they don’t correct it. I hope people catch on and a class action law suit gets filed.

Great wolf is always fun for the kids. They enjoyed it. The rooms are not as comfortable for the price.
