Reviews seemed hot & cold, but thought it would be fine because of the Marriott brand. Freshly urinated mattress with smell trying to be covered up with window open when we arrived, found bed bugs in the sheets while trying to identify source of smell. Received confirmation email from Marriott stating guests should expect room service every other day - front desk claimed they don't send emails and aren't responsible for any wrong content I'd received. After requesting room service on our 4th day, they made 1 of 2 beds, replaced towels and did not replace almost empty toilet paper. Mgr didn't follow through with all aspects of agreed compensation after writing to Marriott guest service about our experience, and after multiple requests they still can't provide a copy of my bill in any format. Mgr stated situation was an exception, but the room next to us on our last day had to be evacuated and treated for bedbugs, on a completely different floor than we originally found them - doesn't seem like an exception.
