Not bad. But a little bit tired hotel

The hotel is located next to the highway and is very easy to find. You can park your car directly opposite the room. The service is friendly. There is live singing in the bar on weekends. The environment is good. The food in the restaurant is a bit expensive. It is quiet to sleep at night. There is no kitchen. It is relatively close to the winery. I think it is my first choice. A review message!

Although our stay at Mich O'Shea's was great, the check in experience was not good. Our booking could not be found and we were there to surprise relatives which ended up not being a surprise due to this mishap upon checkin.

Stayed at Mick O'Shea's in Hackham. Booked for 4 nights, but stayed for 5 nights, visiting family and the area.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room modern and clean.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would strongly recommend.

We visited here on our holiday to SA. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food delicious. The gin cured salmon and S&P Calamari absolutely outstanding. Extensive wine list championing local wines. We will definitely be back!!

SOME staff members could do with a lesson on customer service and attitude!! However, most of them were great.

Generous meal serves, delicious food, especially the karange chicken gluten free. There was a good range of gluten free options. (Would like it if they included a gluten free curry and made the sticky date pudding gluten free too). Service was fast and the Crows beating Carlton 100 to 98 topped the night off beautifully! My men were all glad the game was on at Micks!

I had arranged an early check in,.of which I also arrived a further 15mins plus ahead of, only to have to beg for the key a third time so I could go get ready for a wedding we were attending. My son still had to wait a further 10mins for them to finalise it so it took a total 37mins to check in. They said they weren't going to charge the extra fee because of the muck around but then they still did. Upon my key return the next day I questioned it & got it refunded but still coped attitude from the guy. The room itself was quite nice, but again they need improvements to the 2nd room, it had a funny smell to it & at minimum needed a fan added to the room, preferably it needs its own aircon unit as it was very warm in there which only added to the smell. I don't treat myself to accommodation very often so for the price you pay these days the overall experience could have been way better.
