Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa

I can’t recommend Rowhill Grange highly enough. We had our wedding there in May 2024 and had the most perfect day. Emilia and the team have been fantastic from start to finish, I would also shout out to Karis who was amazing on the day and kept everything running like clockwork. The package we booked included John the DJ who was also fantastic along with all the staff at Rowhill. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more.

Nice hotel with lovely grounds. Our group enjoyed private dining and the dinner was very,very good, as was the service. Breakfast was also good. Rooms very comfortable, but lack sockets, standard or usb bedside - best way to rectify would be to put bedside lamps with usb integrated. Bar experience was nice, but please put in a draft beer or two. Would stay again.

After reading mixed reviews i was a bit sceptical about staying here, however, myself and my partner had the most relaxing overnight stay! Check in was very efficient, the room was clean and spacious, service excellent at dinner, spa area was lovely and relaxing (highly recommend the facial!) - cannot wait to return!

Had afternoon tea for two with my husband. The sandwiches were a bit dry unfortunately. But scones and cakes were nice. This was my second visit. My first visit the champagne afternoon tea was lovely. Nice a**osphere I will eat here again. The staff were friendly and approachable.

The venue is lovely but disappointed by the tea. The sandwiches were not that fresh , scones were nice but the cakes did not look very appealing and I was underwhelmed by the taste. The price is not good value for the money. I would not rush to go back.

Having stayed here originally a few years ago, we finally booked another stay these past couple of days. We won’t be waiting that long until our next visit. The grounds are both peaceful and beautiful, the spa is beyond blissful and the staff are amazing - special shout out to Mark in Elements Bar! Could not recommend enough!

Great Spa! I have attended just to use the spa facilities and also for a massage and facial! Which, was actually one of the best trea**ents I have ever had. The spa is always kept clean and the facilities are fabulous too! I would love to see some bar snacks for when I have finished in the gym/spa.

We went with two friends so four of us . We were seated in the conservatory on a round table which was lovely. The staff were very attentive with water and choice of tea. We were able to have refills of tea. The food came of 3 tiers sandwiches scones and cakes. Mine was separate as I have an allergy. The food Sandwiches were salmon, ham, egg and cream cheese. The salmon was on a poppy seed bread which was lovely but you couldn’t taste the lemon butter. The egg was bland it was meant to have truffle but you couldn’t taste this it could have done with some cress or something. The cream cheese was with cucumber on an onion bread but this didn’t taste like this. The scones were quite dry the fruit scone ( mine had no fruit in it ) it was lovely to have raspberry jam and cream which was lovely. The cakes on the whole were ok but a bit boring. One was meant to be a carrot cake but didn’t taste it. On the whole the experience was lovely good company and pleasant surroundings.

Having started my working life at the Rowhill Grange Hotel 30 years ago as a young waitress from France, i was eager to take my 23year old daughter to this( from what i remember…) beautiful amazing place for her birthday. The spa was being built when i left Rowhill to discover London and i remember Mrs Alexander being VERY pointy on the cleanliness and quality of service. Well our experience was disappointing, the SPA looks old and the walls are peeling, the « therapists » ( about a dozen of them behind the desk) all very nice but might have to watch their language (the: im f….g starving was rather disappointing to hear from the staff) to the restaurant where our two course menu awaits….clients are allowed to walk bare footed in the restaurant is a no no for me, the SPA goers in their robes was borderline already. The service was non existent, no smile no « how was everything » i didn’t finish my fish pie it was plain and boring the waitress did not ask why shame feed backs to the chef are always good. On a good note, the receptionist was welcoming and our head shoulder and facial massage was very good. So Mrs Alexander if you are reading this review ( which i doubt) i was the young French waitress to whom you taught how to pronounce « hankerchief » properly, so Mrs Alexander im afraid your standards have slipped.
