Clean, quiet environment, nice restaurant. Helpful front desk. Reasonable rate. Just only very few wall power socket in the room is bit not convenient.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable so a good night's sleep. Bar and restaurant area was lovely and the breakfast was good.

The staff were excellent.
Breakfast on my first morning was very poor with most items unavailable. The room was very tired and in poor condition. Worst of all was there was no hot water for my morning shower, it came on just before I left the room. Always nice to start the day with a cold shower when it’s minus 3 outside. The photos on the website are not reflective of the real condition.
The hotel is evidently being run with limited funds. Would not return and not recommend.

My stay was so perfect from start to finish, the staff was very polite and very helpful, I am disabled and they couldn’t do enough for me I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be back for another stay, I have never slept so soundly in a long time the rooms and bedding was just so perfect I can’t say enough about this hotel I can only say thank you to everyone that I met and thank you for for a perfect visit.

Wedding including overnight stays for guests. Events coordinator Vanessa was very professional in her dealings with us, guiding us step by step through the process. I would advise use of the suppliers recommended by Stanneylands. Very professional. Gave us confidence that they would do their roles perfectly. Made the whole build up experience manageable & stress free. Photographer. Mike Allen Venue dressing/flowers Pretty Things DJ Simon Lee, our organiser throughout the day and evening, couldn’t do enough for us and really appears to love his job. Fabulous venue. Grounds suitable for photos. We had use of three private areas. The ceremony room for the wedding, another in which the guests could have canapés & drinks together while waiting for the wedding breakfast upstairs in the beautiful State Room. Perfect day. Stayed here the night of our wedding which was included with our booking with Styal Lodge. Beds were super comfy, power shower was great. Big spacious room with slippers and robe included. Breakfast was lovely and had a variety of choices. Staff were helpful and attentive. Some of our wedding guests stayed the night prior and were very happy with the standard of their stay also.
