This is the type of hotel where the staff treat you as if you've been a guest many times before. When we arrived, the woman sitting at the front desk probably noted our age (over 60) and the fact we both had 25" suitcases. She said our room was on the 3rd floor and (no elevators) thus she would find us a lower floor accommodation. She found us a room which had less stairs to climb. It was delightful. We looked out over their front garden with the big beech tree! Staff in the dining were very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner in one night and their menu was varied and very reasonably priced. Not as big deal, but I would have liked a walk-in shower, instead of a climb up tub with shower. If we would stay in Windsor again, we'd definitely book here!

Stayed here for a weekend. The room was amazing, large bathroom with roll top bath and a separate shower. Large bed and desk area. The hotels’ location is superb. Short walk to Windsor castle and even shorter walk to ‘the long walk’ which is just opposite. Service was exceptional. Free drink at the bar most welcome. My husband went out for an early morning run and when he got back he was offered a big mug of tea which he was very grateful for. The breakfast was exceptional, cooked to order and set us up for the day. We pre booked our car park space. The location is perfect. We felt that other hotels on the high street must have been noisy with late night revellers. This hotel was so quiet and peaceful. There is so much to see and do in Windsor that we will be back, and we will book this hotel. Thank you for an amazing stay. Mr. & Mrs. Harrison

Hôtel très bien situé dans une rue calme un peu à l écart du centre. Dommage que le prix soit si élevé. La chambre était correcte, notamment la literie mais la salle du bain était petite et la baignoire-douche sous une soupente, à déconseiller si on est un peu grand. Notre chambre était située dans une annexe de l hôtel avec une vue sur le parking. Très mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.

Great hotel, warm welcome, ace bar staff ( we taught him how to make a special cocktail!!!) room was very good with a walk in shower and bath. Tv's in both rooms, a/c was efficient and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable stay. Staff were very friendly with a complementary drink given in the bar which was nice. Room nicely presented with comfortable bed. Bathroom spotless. Room was big enough for me solo 1 night but might be considered small by international standards especially if there are two of you travelling. A few scuff marks which could do with painting at some point but didn't affect my stay. Nice location for exploring Windsor and only short walk into town. Overall a pleasant overnight stop.

Our one-night stay here was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Sara who could not have been more kind or more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was a major factor in ensuring that our whole experience was unforgettable. The hotel itself was also perfect for our stay - a comfortable lounge and bar with superb food choices for both our evening meal and breakfast. We were all able to relax in a calm environment for the duration of our stay. Thanks, too, to Lorraine, Sarah, Emily, Medi and Alan the chef for making us feel valued guests. We will not hesitate to return here when we next visit Windsor. A wonderful stay. Thank you all so much.
