Return visit so knew what to expect :) super friendly staff, helpful and polite. Hotel was very busy as a wedding was taking place. However this did not impact our stay. Good variety of breakfast items inc dairy free products :)

We absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed in the Windsor suite. We could not fault it.
The staff were helpful and polite from start to finish. Breakfast was great.
Location was perfect too!!

We stayed at this hotel for a short break. It was a spur of the moment booking. We had a more modern room in Windsor house, just across the road which was very nice. The brasserie is lovely with great views of the river. Breakfast was great, it was buffet style so you could have anything and everything! What really struck me was the customer service. All the staff were brilliant, polite and pleasant. It really puts you at ease when you get that level of service. Unfortunately I have some mobility issues and our room was right at the back of the hotel, which was quite a walk for me, but there was a lift (unlike the main building) so that made things easier. As I’ve said we booked last minute, in future I would book more in advance to get a room closer to the exit. However I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The hotel had this rustic charm. My room had a fireplace ( not used though during my stay), a wooden cabinet that resembled times of old. Even the two seats that were in my room had a classic feel. The bathroom was modern though, even having the jacuzzi function in the tub. The hotel’s location is also just 3 mins walk to Windsor Castle. It was also directly beside the bridge that separates Windsor and Eton. There are many restaurants around the hotel so you are spoilt for choice. The only downside to the hotel are: the acoustics are not very good, you can hear people outside your room talking, walking, with some of the wooden flooring making creaking sounds when you step on it, there were no elevators, so I was very much reliant on the hotel staff to bring up and bring down my luggage from the room. Even the main entry did not have a ramp. You also have to carry your luggage up two steps to enter the main hotel lobby. The food and dessert were very good! There was no variation to the breakfast fare though. But the snacks and lunch were very good!

Parking spaces at Eton and Riverside carpark in a PUBLIC carpark are marked in a way to mislead the public. This hotel has parking spaces for its guests far away from the hotel itself and in a public carpark with one access gate and one parking payment system. The marking that these spaces are reserved PRIVATELY for the hotel are not clearly visible for the unsuspecting drivers. This is how this hotel makes an extra buk with penalty charges.

Have just had a perfect weekend away with friends. The hotel was in a fantastic location, very clean rooms with everything you would require. Lovely food breakfast and evening meal. Staff polite and professional. Parking good and a only a few mins walk away. Our stay was good value too. We will return and recommend.
