The hotel is a little remote, in the small town of Windsor. It is 48 kilometers away from Sydney. There is no business around. You can hardly go out without a car. There are wild animals by the lake in front of the hotel.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. I went with 2 other friends and got upgraded to a King suite with a sofa bed which was extremely comfortable and a king bed. The bath is huge and the room is clean. Overall very satisfied with the place, would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend away at the Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury to celebrate our anniversary. Beautifully renovated historical hotel surrounded by manicured gardens, with the best buffet breakfast in their lovely Gazebo Restaurant. We stayed in the spacious junior suite with a small balcony which had beautiful views of the gardens and the mountains in the distance. Our room also had all the modern tech with the latest gadgets to fully enjoy our stay. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a shout out particularly to Paris who gave us excellent local recommendations and was more than happy to answer all our questions. An added bonus was a lovely dessert tray and card for our anniversary that the hotel surprised us with when we came back to our room one evening! Highly recommended.

Very unimpressed with this hotel. We had the "privacy please" sign on our door. We were asleep and didn't hear reception knocking. Next thing we know the lady is opening our door walking in. Under no circumstances (apart from immediate threat or danger) should anyone enter a room when they have requested privacy. There is no lock on the door on the inside or a chain on the door so she could do as she pleased. The lady was trying to drop off a kids pack saying it was included in our room package. Not only do we not have kids, the room we booked had nowhere to sleep any other guests apart from the two of us. For the amount I paid for the room I was extremely underwhelmed. We booked the room we did just for the bath. Went to have a bath and there were dirt marks all over the tub and soap scum along the sides. So having a bath was out. Got in the shower and the shower head had clearly not been cleaned, there was green mould on the tiles due to a leaking shower head and disgusting groating. All towels were old with the edges frayed. There was long black hair all throughout the room. This was not mine (I'm a redhead) or my partner's (he is bald). The rug had clearly not been vacuumed as I walked on it with bare feet and had dirt stuck to the soles of my feet. The rooms are clearly not sound proof. I could hear the baby down stairs crying all night.

I went with my wife on a business trip. It's such a beautiful place. The yard was breathtaking with the ponds and water fountains. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Especially when my wife had issues with her laptop. I definitely would recommend this place and will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience (room 109).
