Easy to get to. Property is good except putting a guest staying two nights right next to an area that’s torn apart and workers start drilling and pounding at 7am isn’t good.!

Carpet in the room was sticky! Like it was shampooed and they left the soap on it. Very unpleasant

There was no notice that the hotel was under construction when I booked the room directly through IHG. The lobby was swathed in plastic and hazy with dust. The room smelled of new paint and off-gassing. I could not stay. I learned, after three phone calls to IHG customer service, that the manager refused to refund the full price room. IHG did not post I submitted.

Stayed here for birding adventure at High Island Audubon Rookeries. Wonderful experience. The location is set away from the freeway so it’s quieter. And we had a back view of a lovely field! Very friendly staff. Front desk people were accommodating and helpful. Tammy was particularly friendly and helpful in the breakfast area. Breakfast was varied, healthy choices (egg white veggie omelette, fruit, turkey sausage). Check out was easy.
