This is a lovely place to stay. The atmosphere in the bar area is cozy and welcoming. We also really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The cheese board was a delight. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was 5 star!! The staff were great too. Overall, a great experience.

Tracy and the team are always very hospitable and will go above and beyond to make your stay a great one.
Always a nice atmosphere in the pub and restaurant, and they have a lovely big wood burner to warm yourself up if it’s cold outside.
Food is excellent, with a great selection for both dinner and breakfast.
Drinks choice is great too with lots of products from local producers such as Thatchers Cider or Butcombe Ales.

We arrived later than had planned but a friendly staff member warmly welcomed us. No forms to fill or passports to show; no vehicle details required, just had to confirm our payment and were shown quickly to our room.
What a lovely room it was, furnished well and pleasant view over the village.
Bed was huge and very comfortable and bathroom had great hot shower. We booked in for dinner, a good menu to choose from and served with lots of smiles and speedily too.
Breakfast (included in the price) with choice of cereals and cooked to order full English or other was outstanding.
Great experience indeed and will certainly book the Woodborough again when next staying in North Somerset.

Visiting friends in Winscombe so spent two nights here. The inn was superb in every respect. Beautifully recently refurbished room and probably one if the best shower rooms we’ve had in a room in recent years. Excellent dinner and breakfast too and such good value for money as well.

Everything ok .only offered toast with full English should offered with any breakfast. Fruit juice and cereal only thing on offer for continental. Sausage could have been better quality.

Comfortable and roomy king sized bed (very rare in the UK), spacious room, good shower. Having all rooms on the first floor and no one above us was very welcome. It's annoying when you hear footsteps and noise of other guests above you. Also appreciated being able to have dinner downstairs in the dining room, and that a generous cooked breakfast was included in the price.
We would be happy to recommend this well-run hotel.

Our stay was perfect. We had dinner in the pub and breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Stayed overnight to access a wedding nearby.
