DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. You’ll be met with bugs in EVERY room. I am a Titanium Elite member and was treated with zero loyalty. When we checked in it was late, I was not offered anything from the pantry or offered my bonus points (not a tremendous deal but again, lack of focus on loyalty), we went to our room and went right to bed. When we awoke the next morning and opened the drapes we were met with an overwhelming number of flying bugs & insects! I’ve never felt more dirty and was terrified to look in my mouth r my families luggage. Being loyal to Marriott, I went to the front desk showed them the pictures of the bugs and how dirty things were in the room. Jackie at the front desk told me she would send someone up to SPRAY for bugs. I said “not with my family here you won’t!” I told Jackie I would like a new room. Jackie agreed and moved me to a new room. Guess what….even MORE bugs and insects than in the first room! I took video and pictures to show Jackie. She again said “yes, those bugs are attracted to the light” which astonished me. I told her we were leaving immediately and I wanted a full refund for my stay. She told me she couldn’t do that. I asked for a manager and she told me there was not a manager available. Jackie told me to call Marriott corporate (which I’m doing) to request a refund. She dismissed me and just said there was nothing more she could do. However, before I left she made sure to hand me the invoice for the waters I purchased…unbelievable! Again DO NOT STAY HERE! If the lack of loyalty isn’t bad enough, the BUGS most certainly are!!!
