Initial thought is the resort is beautiful. Staff is friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The room was beautiful, modern and spacious. Waterpark itself is okay for me, I've been to better. The spa is really small but I wanted my husband to experience his 1st spa, so for him it was the best and didnt want to leave. The massage therapist was immaculate. Food and drinks were okay. Tried to kayak but motor was down on their boat so couldn't do any of the lake activities per staff just incase someone gets lost they wont be able to come get you. Con of the trip was not knowing when you get there you'll pay additional parking and resort fee plus deposit. No lake activities except fishing at the pier. Overall it was a good 1st time experience there.

Our room had dirty dishes and kitchen was not clean. Staff did make it right for us though. A lot of resort fees but areas closed like the boats. I would stay at a different location next time.

I’d like to say that this resort blew away my expectations. Even though we arrived later in the night the room was ready and available. The next day made up for any previous delays we had with airport. The fact we sat at the pool and enjoyed the good old Florida sunshine. The resort was clean. Great good. Great service all around. Everyone said good morning good night etc no matter what. I can’t wait to book again. We actually booked another extra night which was great. We had to make up that first night of travel. Overall this place is 5 out of 5. Disney was a hop skip and jump away and universal short drive back to Orlando area. Absolutely great for families. Even for couples looking to just relax. I’d like to single out Maria Williams who we had the pleasure of taking care of us at the water park pool. She was ready with any request we had and was always ready to answer any questions. Service was impeccable. Every time she walked by it was always “are you guys ok” or “do you need anything”. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Hope we get to see her on our next trip here.
