Live in mobile home had to evacuate hurricane Ian. Worst place ever!!! Stay in your car not there!!! Nasty Nasty Will never stay there again. It was a state of emergency I had no choice every place was booked. The sign said Pets Welcome I had my cat they said no cats!!! I had to bring my cat home to stay in an unsafe mobile home!!! They were letting people bring big-- dogs there but wouldn't let me have my cat! I was very upset! I am a senior and I was trying to get to a safe place during a hurricane!! Shame on you people there!! Never ever stay at another Roadway! Terrible!!

My husband and I were UNLUCKY enough to have lived at the Winter Haven Gardens for 3 months. The staff there are ignorant and DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT A GUEST. We were very disappointed in the front desk employees down to the maid service. The management (if you can call them that) have a long way to go and more to learn just to bring them up to be polite and helpful. If any of the management there worked for me, well let's just say they would never work for me. But your management is only as good as the owner and his willingness to pay for good help. Your management should set the pace and the atmosphere of the hotel. The management, especially the head of the maid service and dining room, is the worst of all of them. She gets into everyone's business, even the guests. They never had.any clean towels or clean linen. I ended up buying my own. The washers and dryers there are filthy and leak water. Most of the washers take your $2.50, and the machine never turns on. It was hit or miss with the dryers too. And don't think you're going to get a quarterback when you lose it, because the front office will tell that the sign says that you wash at your own risk. I thought that sign meant that if your laundry was stolen, they were not going to be responsible. But I guess that's a sign with many meanings!! The room was nice and I kept it clean. I did a much better job than the maids did. But if I were getting paid the money that they are getting paid to do that job and work for nasty people, then I would not care about the job that I did either. There are too many dogs there. The room had a wet dog smell about it when we first got there. And our No Smoking Room smelled like they hadn't taken the curtains down to wash since the day they were hung. The bedspread smelled like smoke too. There was trash in the breezeway and on the weekends, the team would pile up outside of the overstuffed trash cans all around the property. The management Do Not Know was ice was. You can not get a piece of ice anywhere in that hotel. They have several ice machines in the breezeways, but not one of them works, kind of like the washing machines there. This is a terrible place to go and stay. Their prices are high and the quality thereof everything is low. If you want to go to a decent hotel, then go next door to the Howard Johnsons Hotel. At least they are still run by Americans......

Me and my significant other stayed for a little over a week here and it’s a nice place. The lady Jennifer at the front desk is so sweet and helpful, absolutely love her. They have free breakfast & dinner everyday with your stay. The rooms are nice and clean. :) it’s super close to so many restaurants. I definitely will be back!

This hotel needs to be condemned by the health unit. The pictures must be quite old as the place is not as nice as they show. The extended stay caters to an unsavoury group of people. The police had to "visit" twice to deal with a few of them. The room we stayed in had a funky smell. The bathroom had more black mold than paint and the front desk guarded toilet paper like gold. Don't bother with the breakfast - not worth getting up for. The walls are paper thin - you can hear your neighbour blowing their nose. Do yourself a favour and drive a little further if you have to and avoid staying here, it's not worth saving a bit of money or time!

We were surprised when we visited this motel. The price was reasonable and even less if you have an extended stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda who runs the kitchen. Even more a surprise, the price included an evening meal and cooked breakfast. You just have to enjoy Amanda’s (unseen) live musicians, as well as her cooking which is very good.

The rooms are decently sized, but are all smelling of a foul odor which i can only assume is mold from the AC. Asking for help is like seeing god. This Place doesnt care about anything but the money you give them. They will charge you $11 for a roll of toilet paper. I would look around more and stay away from this place. The free dinners.....are just an early visit to the toilet in the morning as the food is always super old. The cook smokes and makes youre food right after without washing their hands....Its Disgusting.

The photos of this property are nicer than what it is like. The lobby is very nice but the rooms are not. The bathroom was in complete disrepair the vanity was coming off the wall as well as the bath shower faucet.. The desk clerk was just as nice as could be but when you see a parking lot that has a fence around it that should be the first clue. I think the transient population may stay here for extended stays. I would not recommend this property.
