For a wedding in Winterton we stayed atlilac lodge as well as the purple house. We could fit 31 people in with place to spare. It is a beautiful place with beautiful gardens. Extremely clean and the best price ever. We had a lovely weekend with the kids enjoying the pool and all the olay areas. Will definitely gi back there again.

Wow, we got there and we were exhauuusted. Such a warm welcime. I bioked the wrong place and Susan helped me out quick and so friendly. We thought lie down just for a tiff... those beds and bedding... we enjoyed our lie down so much when we woke up, it was quite a bit more than a tiff. Think I might have snored so much, the door was closed when I woke up. Lol The patio dogs fave me quite a bit; and being a Criminal Minds junkie, did not help when an elderly lafy came and knock on the door... only found out morning after, the "'dogs' on the patio" scared her. Lol. I'm with you girl lol. Do stay at Lilac Lodge, its an amazing, cozy, friendly, comfy and calming place. Wow that bed tho...

We arrived after dark and later than planned, but Susan was welcoming and recommended a good place for supper. The gardens are beautiful. We took lots of photos in the morning. We especially appreciated the emergency lighting during load shedding. I highly recommend Lilac Lodge!

It is a perfect place to stay in. Quiet, closer to town. Closer to activities. I'd love to come back again. However, there's just one miner thing i would love to see when I come back, electrical gate, otherwise everything is perfect

A pleasant little guest house. We had incredible service from Susan - she went the extra mile to make sure we had everything. Well priced and situated. Rooms were clean and serviced the next day We will certainly rate 10 out of 10
