North Gregory Hotel

Great central location, quite, good roast meal served In dining room.

Staff and restaurant meal were EXCELLENT!!! Rooms very dated, not refurbished as reviews led me to believe (maybe it was the downstairs bar & restaurant they meant) - chair had stains and areas where fabric was thread bare. Air con did not swivel properly so no air towards ground, only up to roof. Many large cobwebs that were covered on dust, so been there long time. Shower rails all rusty…

Our bus driver and owner was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We saw things and places we would have missed if Irene hadn't gone out of her way to show us. The accommodation was good and the food was also very good.

This is an older country hotel but clean and comfortable. Our room was available on arrival and was basic but clean. A downside is that there were no hangers in the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. We didn't eat here but the hotel has a small cafe attached where we got a basic breakfast.

Beautiful happy country people made us feel right at home and very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the North Gregory Hotel, which is grand and steeped in history. The rooms have modern conveniences (ensuite, aircon, fridge), but still retain the old charm. Rooms are on the second floor and I don't believe there was an elevator (best to check with the hotel if this is required). Staff were very friendly and the food in the pub was excellent (albeit the serves were enormous). Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the art deco building and it’s history. Room was clean and convenient.

It was an unforgettable experience, as we felt immersed in the history of a city and a region so characteristic that only a country like Australia can offer. The atmosphere was stupendous, the rooms were appropriately proportioned and where you can breathe history. When we used the toilet we were surprised by the smell of the water as we had already had the same experience in Rotorua in New Zealand, so it didn't cause us any inconvenience and our skin was grateful. To end our stay, we found the icing on the cake because when we checked out we had your collaborator Sara waiting for us, who like us is Portuguese and we never expected to meet a compatriot in Winton, it was an unforgettable way of saying goodbye to a It's also an unforgettable place.
