At 29 degrees the air conditioning didn't work in the whole hotel...etc.

The curtains are ineffective in blocking out the sunlight

Ich war eigentlich angenehm überrascht. Das Einzelzimmer ist günstig, das Frühstück besser als erwartet. Von den Zügen habe ich nichts gehört. Der Fön im Bad wurde schon lang nicht mehr benutzt (verstaubt) und die Eingangstür könnte gerichtet werden. Über die Obdachlosen am Bahnhof muss man hinwegsehen.

Vuil vies hotel. Er valt hier iets goed over te zeggen. Heeft dringend een totale renovatie nodig. Vuile inkom en povere receptie. Oude metalen deuren van de lift best met handschoenen aanraken. Tapijten in de gang zijn echt vies en vol plekken. Er zijn stukken uit het plafond waar water uitkomt. De kamers zijn klein met een versleten laminaat vloer. De airco WERKT NIET. Bij temperatuur van 30 gr buiten niet uit te houden van de warmte. Hebben dit gemeld aan de receptie. Dit kan niet kregen wij als ontwoord. Airco werd pas 2 dagen geleden volledig gecontroleerd. De doucheruimte is piepklein en ruikt vermuft. Schimmel op de rand. Overal afbladerende verf. Ontbijt--＞ zeer karig, weinig keuze. Alleen de koffie is hier goed. Geen airco in de piepkleine ontbijtruimte. Men heeft dan maar een blaastoestel geplaatst. Amper plaats voor 20 mensen. Een lange wachtrij om te ontbijten. Geen parkeerplaats. Ofwel ergens buiten op de rijbaan of in een ondergrondse parkeerplaats wat verder die sluit vanaf middernacht. Besluit --＞ een hotel om te mijden.

The pictures taken by the hotel don't really reflect reality - we were there 3 times and never had a room that really looked like that. The location near the main train station is very central, and the bus station is also right in front of the hotel. This naturally attracts a corresponding clientele...when it's cold outside, the people disappear relatively quickly, but the warmer it gets, the "hotter" the atmosphere outside the window becomes. You have the choice - train tracks (out the back) or bus station (out the front). You can't just have breakfast - you have to reserve a breakfast time when you check in, as the breakfast room is very small. The rooms are simply furnished, but clean and completely fine. The breakfast offers a wide selection, there is even a pancake machine.

It's a bit borderline from the outside, but it's OK inside. Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. Rooms are simple but adequate and clean. What more could you want? Price too high in my opinion. Very noisy in the evenings, as my room faced the bus station.
