The staff were very professional and friendly, however, I paid extra for an upgrade room , with larger bed.The bed was a basic double.The bathroom was extremely small , not acceptable really .There was no adequate mirror in the bedroom either .This spoilt our stay .

Booked to stay here for our first anniversary beautiful entrance and very warm welcome from reception Our room was wonderful the restaurant and food was outstanding we could not fault anything Your staff are all amazing and gave exceptional customer service A special mention for Paulina who served us at dinner fantastic service Thankyou and for Wallace at the bar who made the best expresso martinis we have ever had Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and making our special occasion so memorable will definitely be back 🤗

Had a very enjoyable couple of days at this hotel. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. When we arrived-with there not being a lift to our room on the first floor- the receptionist offered to carry our bags to the room and indeed took my wife's bag. This was done purely for 'customer service' and not, as in hotels abroad, for a tip! Furthermore, on a separate occasion, when I reported that the complimentary safe was not working, the receptionist literally went to the room there and then to fix it. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a fair amount of dust on one of the cabinets which was not in keeping with the rest of the room, which was clean and tidy. We had dinner on the first night which was pleasant enough and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and varied in a buffet style although can get very busy. A large car park so absolutely no problem parking. I purchased two pints of beer from the same gentleman at the bar. He needs further training as the beer was short of a pint. He didn't allow the froth to settle. A bit rich given the price of the drinks and on reflection, I should have forgotten the embarrassment and asked him to top up. Extensive and picturesque grounds. However, it would be good to have a bench or two so that guests can sit and enjoy the lake etc. We were looking in vain for a seat but couldn't find one. We would not hesitate to visit this hotel again.

Paid just over £400 for the night and was given a dirty run down room . Was really annoyed. Went down to reception to make a complaint , was given another room . Just when I thought everything was fine ; I was woken up at 8:30am by loud 🥁 being played outside .

The Hotel was nice , Staff friendly but the restaurant charges were very high and not worth the money , they take a service charge without your say so and I was charged £50 Holding deposit then another £91. Was taken from my card after the meal , don't know what happened to my original £50 deposit. Avoid very expensive and do not keep you informed of cash transactions.
