We went for afternoon tea. 3* just for the lovely scones, lots of cream and nice sandwiches. But service wasn’t great. Had to wait quite a while for a staff member to appear to seat us and again to pay after. Didn’t get either milk or lemon with my tea and had to ask. Two of the mini-cakes were stale, hard and dry. Not too impressed- there were only three tables occupied so it wasn’t as if they were busy.

Just returned from 4 night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed! The staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was spacious and comfortable and the chef was very accommodating to my wife’s dairy intolerance and we will be returning! It is a lovely part of the country well worth a visit.

Absolutely gorgeous, the whole place is stunning. Loved the room and the view from it. The spa was brilliant, lovely food and welcoming staff. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.

We had an Absolutely fantastic and very relaxing time, the food was amazing and tasted great, the room was the perfect size and gave us everything we needed to have a great time. There was lovely scenery in a great setting. We really enjoyed killing time in the bar as there was a great vibe, great selection of cocktails 😉

Beautiful place with welcoming staff and great food. Room was lovely (even if put up bed was not set up properly) and spacious only slight ****** was only 2 cups and robes even though there was 3 of us staying. Spa staff were very accommodating. Definitely stay again.

What a Hotel ! This Tudor mansion welcomes you with warmth and superior service. My wife and I arrived Sunday and stayed overnight as part of her birthday present. The day was brilliant, starting with a superb Sunday roast and a three course evening meal, beautiful room with all amenities, a spa and then a full breakfast on Monday Morning. The Building is magnificent when considering it is over four hundred years old and the quality of the food was five star. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, attached to a golf course and within a short drive of the river side Town of Woodbridge, which in itself is also worth a visit. All in all , well done Seckford, we shall come again.

Just back from Seckford Hall for a family get together. Had a great time. It’s a very historic building so bags of atmosphere but the facilities are very modern. The spa was so relaxing I fell asleep on a lounger. The staff were all great. In particular Mike the restaurant and bar manager made our family celebrations a big success and needs a special mention. I can thoroughly recommend a relaxing weekend away in Seckford Hall

Went here for a spa day with friends. The new outdoor facilities are really nice with a seating area, sauna, ice bath and 2 hot tubs. Although one of the hot tubs wasn't working and the spa was quite busy. This area is accessible from the I door swimming pool by a fire door which needed to be left open. Would be better to have a proper door. There are 8 loungers at each end of the swimming pool and there is no space between them. Our day included afternoon tea, but one of my party couldn't eat this due to health issues so they said she could order lunch instead, but we would need to eat in the hotel restaurant ( which meant we had to get dressed) . The restaurant had a problem with this and there seemed to be a lack of communication between the spa and restaurant. They reluctantly agreed to serve us one lunch and three afternoon teas. The lunch was only a salad so I don't know why we couldn't have eaten at the spa and stayed in our robes ! Overall the spa day was good and good value, but the lunch saga was inconvenient. Maybe the offer of a spa day with light lunch as an option, served in the spa area, would appeal to those who can't eat or would prefer not to eat afternoon tea.
