Stayed here for 1 night whilst staying in the area for work. I was in a single room with an unattached designated bathroom. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Not too much space in the bedroom but i was only there for 1 night and I had a good nights sleep. The room was well equip and i would happily stay here again as i think it is a nice hotel.

Not sure what makes this a 'deluxe room' Stayed in room 6. Positive - king sized bed very comfortable. Ample bedside power points with usb sockets. Good mirrors. Although establishment is on a major road the room was very quiet. WIFI adequate. Negative - room has overwhelming odour of chemical / adhesive - possibly coming from a locked cupboard in the room? We'd had a stressful day and just needed to sleep and didn't have the energy to ask to be moved. Out of date milk portions - date we stayed was 01 Apr 24 and milk expiry date 10 Mar 24. Double room with two people staying but only one bottle of water and one packet of biscuits on the hospitality tray - somewhat stingey! Lack of privacy - no blind on the bathroom window. Although this has frosted glass it overlooks a common-used corridor, when the bathroom light is on you are exposed to other passing guests. In summary £85 for 1 nights stay in basic room only stay - not good value

Very welcoming friendly host Paul. Nothhing was a problem, host was always on hand, if needed. Rooms were clean and tidy. Plenty of parking. Well situated for local amenities. Evening meal and breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted great, will stay here again.

One of my selecting factors on a hotel whilst working is room service, this listing purports that it's available, but when I enquired I was told "we don't allow that here", an odd statement in itself but a misrepresentation of the listing. It's a shame because, whilst a quirky hotel, the room was comfortable.

We felt the owner was rude, the cost of breakfast a rip off, at £15 each regardless of wether you had cooked or continental . There was lots of road noise at night , lack of parking
