The major shortcoming was the condition of the mattress in the room. It was probably old but definitely NOT CLOSE TO BEING FIRM TO ANY DEGREE Indeed, it was so wrap around squishy soft that I had to move to the firmer seating and cover it with hopefully clean bath towers in order be able to get any sleep at all. My second bad experience with Holiday Inn Express. Not like the old days. NEVER AGAIN.
The major plus was the breakfast offering which was quite good.

This is our hotel of choice when visiting the area. Everyone is wonderful. Jeff and Mariah at the front desk were helpful. Room was nice, clean and roomy. Didn't care for the soap dispensers. Hard to use.

Positives: Front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. Room is spacious and updated. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Towels are crisp and clean. The digital cable with guide is awesome. The hotel was quiet. Negatives: The room was not cleaned well. There was visible dust balls on the ground, food in the microwave, grime in the fridge, stains on the linens and hair in the tub. The breakfast, although free is not good. The location of the hotel is in a bit of a rundown area. The hallways and corridors are outdated. AC is really loud.
