The Vesper is very charming. It is very centrally located. The inn keeper was friendly. Breakfast was great. Easy parking. Spacious bathroom. Reasonably priced. Made great memories and would stay here again!

We enjoyed our weekend in Woodstock, and it was good to get out of the city for a beautiful early fall weekend. The Vespers has potential to be a very comfortable B&B, with some foam mattress pads and down comforters. We brought our own pillows and I wish we brought our own comforter. The building has charm. Don’t expect any cheese and crackers or warm cookies as you might be used to at other country Inns. Breakfast was a spartan affair; we found there are several great breakfast cafes steps away. You will not feel like you’re staying with friends, but as if you’re staying at your friends’ house while they’re away. We loved the tapas at Melaza a few doors down.

Great place to stay, very convenient to downtown Woodstock. The room was spacious and the bed and bedding was great! We had a chance to talk with Dana at breakfast, she was a great host and we really enjoyed the conversation and information about the area. The breakfast was very good. My wife and felt that this was our best stay during our whole trip! Thanks Dana!

This is a great little secret place in downtown Woodstock, walkable to all favorite downtown activities. Lovely decorating and delicious well stocked continental breakfast with fresh goodies. The owners are such wonderful people, very down to earth and friendly. We would recommend this to anyone.

We stumbled into Woodstock after a torrential downpour. Our host Dana was great and we had an amazing suite. Since buying the Vesper they completely updated rooms and my wife fell in love with the furniture. It's a short walk to town and we ended up staying an extra night.

A lovely updated BNB right in town, walkable to everything! Our room was large with a big bathroom and private deck. The owners are sweet and helpful. We went with our 9 mos old son and it was great! Lots of restaurants and shops right down the street. We’d come back.
