The room is tidy, the environment is beautiful, quiet, and it's a roadside shop. It's very convenient to drive in and out.

Booked for two nights while visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
The accommodation and location fitted the bill perfectly. Although out of Oxford we had good good routes to all our destinations and the Park and Rides were beneficial.
Accommodation as expected - good standard. Dined there one evening - food good and well presented.
All staff we encountered were: pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Recommended - would book again.

The price is very favorable, but more basic. The people who run it are friendly and the food is good. It is very close to Bicester Village. It is recommended that friends who rent a car consider shopping + accommodation.

Started off with a lovely warm welcome by a young lad (Jacob) with a massive smile on his face pleased to meet and great everyone. Fantastic young waitress (emily) served us. Very positive and polite happy to answer any questions that we had. It was a Sunday both my friend and I had the roast dinners. They were very tasty. Only down fall was that the colly flower cheese was a bit hard but was still good enough to eat. Great selections of meet! For many vegetables for my liking though. Would definitely be back what a great place !

Staff nice and helpful. Room tired and in need of refurb. Restaurant decor nice though could maybe have done with some background music. Breakfast good especially Eggs Benedict. Location suitable for needs of our trip.

We found Sturdys Castle whilst looking for a place to accommodate, 9 friends( 4 couples and a solo) for a wedding of another friend. The staff were super helpful and arranged everything. We pre booked meals for the night of our arrival and upon arriving the staff gave us a couple of mins to settle in and then promptly asked if we were ready before ordering drinks and awaiting the meal. The food was brought out and was well presented and very tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfasts were amazing and the rooms were spacious and comfy and well appointed. Would definitely use this place for other stays in an around Oxford.

Fab location, good looking frontage. Enjoyed an evening with family before exploring the area . Friendly attentive staff, good beer choice. Prompt reliable pub meal and clean relaxing room in a safe courtyard style arrangement. Great place and ideal to explore this wonderful area
