Really friendly service. Although and older motel, it is really well maintained.

Booked the family room, pet friendly. One of the cleanest places I have stayed in ages. Comfortable and excellent room service compared to some of the bigger places I have stayed at. Lovely friendly staff and reasonable price. Would highly recommend and will stay again if visiting Christchurch.. thanks so much for making our stay stress free, private and enjoyable.

Great rooms big space for a family or groups. Lovely clean tidy warm rooms. Fully equipped kitchen .good car parking . Excellent friendly staff very helpful Will definitely stay again .

So appreciate pet friendly motels! Really friendly male on phone when booking. The park / walking track right beside it wad fantastic for our dog!! Older style motel & furnishings but we knew that when booking & it was warm & comfortable

I was in Christchurch for a medical emergency. My son in hospital. I found out some disturbing news. I was lost to find my way around and I called and booked a motel in town but drove past arcade motel. I turned around to go have a look the signs said vacancies. There was a lovely Gendelman who answered the door. He was very helpful. I explained my situation to him and as his room rate was a bit much for what I need for the night. He help me look on line for alternative Lodging for the night. Onec he realised I was lost as what to do. He gave me a family room for the night cheaper then the one in town. I was so very thankful. The room was beautiful in my time I have been a supervisor of the chateau tongariro so I knew what I was expecting. This Motel is very spotless I could not fult it in any way draws were perfectly ordered not a crumbs in sight bathroom was a pleasure floors were very clean and the beds were excellently made. The cleaners in this Motel are a true asset to this Motel well done I am so very impressed. And the lovely man thank you very much for your kindness and generosity. I am so very grateful. I would recommend this Motel to anyone who likes perfection guaranteed.
