We had to cancel our visit due to sad family events. We notified hotel 2 days before, but just a matter of minutes outside of the 48 hours minimum. We expected some leniency, or a partial refund. Nothing. Very disappointed, Won’t be giving them my service on future visits

This place is in need of a refurb!! Everything is old in need of repair !! Room was ok warm and clean ! Easy access to Chris**as markets so good location just expect BASIC! DONT BOOK BREAKFAST! All the crockery was chipped!! Full English was warmed up old sausages and not that warm really !! Just rubbish!! There are plenty of places to have food in town!

Believe the reviews that say this place is terrible... it's filthy, in a terrible state of repair, there was mould all over the shower and the shower didn't get more than slightly warm, room smelt of cigarettes

Me and my wife stayed here for 1 night .very friendly welcome and close to all bars and restaurants and we had view of river .had a few drinks there which was very reasonably priced.the room was spotless and adequate for us would definitely stay again for a cheap night away

My self, hubby and our son Johnny stayed here on 3rd June for one night, it was very basic and cheap!! Needs updating for a good place to crash for the night after a day site seeing and lots of walking g

Made very welcome, good location easy to find as said good location close to City centre, owner is very nice and helpful had a little issue with TV but he sorted it very fast, so if you have a problem talk to him don't leave it until you get on here!!!

Never seen a dirty and dangerous place to stay like this. My one year old found a rusty screw on the floor and almost eat it .. kettle was half with water from previous guest I believe full with limescale. The carpet was very dirty either.We didn't have a shower as the bath was disgusting. Wardrobe door was broken not able to close it. Luckyl we stayed one night only.

Very friendly and helpful people. Indy made sure everything was good for me. This is not the Ritz, so if you want somewhere posh, it's not for you. It's clean, quiet and comfortable at very reasonable prices. Just a few minutes walk to the centre and directly opposite the rive. My room had a lovely view.

This place should be closed down . Surely hotels are meant to be inspected for health and safety? This has clearly avoided the inspections or ignored the reports. There are not enough words to describe how unhygienic and run down this hotel is . There were big urine stains on the mattress and the bathroom was falling to pieces, just one of many disgusting points . When we went to complain the receptionist just informed us that there was nothing she could do . Save your money and buy a tent .
