Residence Inn Worcester

Corridors needed serious vacuuming Suite was very tired looking , tv not working , towels quite worn .and surfaces did not feel very clean . Bed was comfortable enough . HVAC unit was noisy and never shut off . The four double hung windows not fully latched . So cold air draft as well Yet staff was lovely and attentive .

I was a little worried about staying here after reading all the negative reviews. This hotel is absolutely fine. It’s clean, comfortable and was quiet. The rooms could definitely use updating, yet it was still very nice.

PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. I checked in with my elderly parents on 4/1/2024 at approximately 4PM. We had three rooms reserved as my mom had an appointment at the hospital, which is close by. As soon as I exited the elevator on the fourth floor, I experienced a smell like I have never experienced before. it was the most disturbing odor of my life. It smelled like rotting meat that someone was cooking, but it was left out. I’ve never smelt a dead body before, but after googling, I strongly believe that it was plausible that there was a human corpse that is rotting in one of the rooms. I spent a few hours and thought I could get over the odor as I am relatively reasonable in my room reservations and I was only there for one night however, as the hours progressed, it seemed like it got worse. I went to the front desk at approximately 9 PM and told front desk about the issue And said that I would simply like a refund and I’ll go down the street. My parents and my sister who is staying in the other two rooms were OK with it and stayed the night. However, I needed to depart. As I was telling the front desk about the odor. Another guest chimed in and joined my conversation, and said that she began to smell the order on the preceding Saturday. it is quite alarming and I believe that the front desk needs to do something about it. Separately, I believe this hotel is extraordinarily rundown and unsanitary. They need to do a lot of work to get this hotel up to par and I think it’s uninhabitable and it’s priced as if it is a reasonable hotel. Do yourself a favor and book the courtyard by Marriott, which is approximately 2 miles away and is newly renovated that’s where I ended up moving after I checked out of, the residence inn. The positive is that the hotel staff is very kind and fully refunded me for my room however, I feel obliged to tell other people about my awful experience so they can avoid this hotel at all costs. Marriott Corporate really needs to come in here and do some work. Other reviews say that there are homeless people living in these rooms. Overall - it’s all really weird. In short, avoid this hotel, and you will thank me!

This property is housing migrants. The hallways have a terrible odor. The staff is nice and we enjoy the pool. The rooms are nice just avoid the halls and migrants.

Amazing!

Easy access. Clean and quiet. The furniture and vanity is showing quite a bit of wear and tear, should be replaced.

Very clean. Convenient

The furniture was ripped. The couch you could not even sit on without pilling all of the cushions on the seat part. The chair at the desk was broken and almost threw me on the floor. TV remote in the main room on 3/4 of the buttons worked. When we asked to have them clean the room they only replaced the towels and made the bed. They did not empty the garbage which was full or vacuum the rug. The room was clean when we first got there. Staff was friendly.
