I found this to be a really clean, modern, well appointed room. It’s better than a lot of big chain hotels I have stayed in. I had a ground floor room and the window looked out to the car park but had frosted glass so that I could still enjoy real light which I thought was good. I didn’t experience any noise at all. Nothing from the corridor (and I think there was a wedding on in main hotel so I was braced) and nothing from the street (it was Good Friday so I was braved for that as well). Parking is a bit of a faff but it’s a city centre hotel. I strongly suggest calling reception before you check in - the hotel seems to have a lot of parking dotted about and they’ll be able to tell you where to go. I think they try to downplay it to avoid disappoin**ent but worth a call- they staff are lovely. This isn’t in the main building of the hotel, it’s about a 2 minute walk (if that). You get exactly the same level of service so I suppose it just depends if you’re bothered about walking past a reception desk and paying extra for that. I absolutely wasn’t. I would definitely stay here again.
