Nice hostel with good hygiene and a pleasant environment. I will come again for my next year vacation.

Worst night I’ve had in a hotel for years door’s banging nearly all night constantly noisy people obviously not working people. Seriously considering swapping hotels for next visit can’t risk that again

Excellent stay, we were stopping there for some work in worksop! Inn was exceptionally clean, well prepared room! We didn’t try the restaurant but it looks extremely promising! Highly recommended for a quick stay or during travels.

The room was lively and clean and the bed was so comfortable and also the staff was very helpful and the tea and coffee you get plenty also the pub is next to the hotel bonus .will be coming back the staff that was cleaning rooms shown use where to go for breakfast lovely staff

Out and about on our stay at Clumber Park caravan club site, (where we had some fabulous meals from the visiting vans) we decided to drop off for a lunchtime bite at the Lockkeeper, having driven past many times and thought ‘must try sometime’. Well today we did. The beer, to be fair, was a nice well kept pint of Pedigree. The food, admittedly bar snacks, was the worst! Nacho’s can be a nice snack but here the portion was certainly not for two (despite what the menu says) and the toppings mere slop including £4.95 extra for a spoonful of pulled pork, making it just shy of £15 for the worst nachos we ever had. So still hungry and giving the benefit of the doubt, we ordered the fries at £9.95. A few skinny chips topped with a morsel of cheese and not much more pork. So total close to £25 for food (not sure that’s the right word) which probably cost £2 at most for ingredients. Marston’s you should be ashamed! On the plus side the yound ladies serving were delightful, hence we didn’t feel like tearing them a ***** off as not their fault.

Check in was easy and room was excellent in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Lots of shared rooms and banging of doors overnight but it's Saturday so understandable. Was thrilled to read about the breakfast options for the following day. Sadly on arrival I was told that today was a help yourself carvery breakfast. No pan akes for me then!. Worst of all was the coffee machine was broken, despite multiple staff trying to fix it it wasn't happening. No coffee in the morning wasn't the start I needed.
