leuk personeel vriendelijke bediening, eten was goed en voldoende vlees met twee soorten groente een salade, friet en aardappeltjes. locatie is hartje centrum. bedden sliepen goed en de kamer was zuiver

What a wonderful gem in this quiet little town!!! We walked into town from the train station, able to see the transition from new town to the old town. Hotel is smack in the middle of the old center of town. Everything you would want to see... Jopie museum, Erfskip Museum, churches, shopping.. is within a few moments' walk. Staff at hotel was so friendly, helpful, kind. Breakfast included with your room was prepared and ready at designated table in the morning based on submitted request card night before. Room was spacious and quiet. One note of warning, though. If you are not able or willing to walk up stairs that are pretty steep and the treads not very deep, you will not be comfortable with the climb to your room. No elevator available. Dining options at the hotel are wonderful and you have the full square to sit in to enjoy outdoor dining as well. Hearing the church bells from the nearby historic church was the icing on the cake. We plan to go back and spend a few months in the town at some point in the next few years since it was so welcoming. Did not make it to the beach, but understand that the beach is a very popular summer spot. Prepare to be transported back in time when you visit!

Onze kamer bevond zich op de bovenste verdieping. Het had wat weg van een zolder kamer. Deze kamer hadden wij niet geboekt, maar een andere kamer volgens de plaatjes van de site. Er was alleen een klein dakraam. Een kleine televisie scherm, bureau met stoel en een luie stoel. Er was maar 1nachtkastje. In de badkamer hing een douche gordijn voor het raam. Ik had beneden een melding gemaakt dat boven een aantal deuren de nevenindicator knippert. De eigenaresse zei er is niks aan de hand, brandweer heeft vanmorgen nog gecontroleerd en alles is in orde. Ze zei wat tegen haar personeel in Fries, wat ik niet kon verstaan. Ik voelde mij totaal niet op mijn gemak. Ik heb die nacht slecht geslapen, ook veel last gehad van muggen

Hier met regelmaat gegeten. Vooral de vis is aan te raden. Her eten was erg lekker en goed verzorgd, met mooie bijgerechten. Mooie locatie op het pleintje, ruim voldoende ruimte tussen de tafels. Zowel schaduw als zonplekken. Fijn en vriendelijk personeel.

Goed en gezellig hotel, de kamers waren gehorig, en steile trappen om bij de kamers te komen, kamers waren netjes en compleet. Zeer goed hotel qua eten en drinken, super vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt was goed een dag van te voren wordt er dmv een lijst gevraagd wat je wilt voor het ontbijt, en alles SUPER vers en de lekkerste croissants ever !
