Bex Rooms

A comfortable stay, very clean and in a quiet place.

Travelling for work perfect accommodation a bit of a drive for shops.

We stayed there 14 days. The humidity level is high and many big spiders inside even walking inside the bed. When we checked out we forgot our stuff and I kindly asked them and they confirmed that cleaner found. Though I messaged a few times to collect it in appropriate times, but they did not respond. It was not nice. Bare in mind that if you forget something you can never get it as nobody cares. Housekeeper only comes once a week and only when you ask

There is not much near the property but, if like me you are just after somewhere to sleep, this is ideal. The room has the basics you need for a stay and was spotlessly clean.

We just stayed for 1 night at the end of July in Room 1 to attend a party very locally. When we arrived the small window was open and realised later when we closed it the reason why; the room does smell of damp, I couldnt see any signs anywhere, but there was a definite smell. The room was clean, there was plenty of teas and coffees (maybe more milk needed) and lots of sockets, extras in the bathroom like soap, shower gel, shampoo and moisturiser. I found the shower excellent, only slight criticism would be to add a shelf/basket. I think our neighbour left their bathroom light on as I could hear their fan well into the night, but there was no road noise. Its also a shame that Bex Cafe is closed as we couldnt find anywhere local to have breakfast. We stopped at the Old Barn Nurseries on our way home, they served a delicious breakfast! If I needed a room in the area I would stay again, but maybe not in Room 1 due to the damp

We stayed for two nights and found the rooms very comfortable, a reasonable size and conveniently located for what we needed (visiting family). The room was pretty clean (a few old cobwebs on the ceiling) and it was handy having parking on site. There are plenty of plug sockets throughout the room a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and good quality wifi. The bathroom was clean and practical and the shower worked well. We found the bed very comfortable and despite being so close to a busy road we weren't disturbed by the traffic at all. The 4 rooms were all booked for our first night but we didn't hear a sound from any of the other rooms. Overall a good stay and I would definitely stay again.

We booked the Bex rooms due too it’s location too friends we intended to visit, upon arrival we had a slight confusion as we could see rooms 1-2 but not 3-4 (that would literally be my only criticism of the Bex Rooms) maybe just have a sign but that was a minor thing. Absolutely everything else was perfect room was clean and well maintained the bathroom spotless and the pressure of the shower was incredible. These rooms are ideal and a great price would definitely stay again and would recommend too anyone thinking of booking.

Dirty rooms. Your staying in a shed. Rude staff. Awful food. Very expensive. Much better places to stay and cheaper near by. Our children caught fleas from bedding and floors.It was the worst experience ever.

We booked a superior room on *********** and expected to receive a code for the room the day before arrival. This did not arrive and Ben rooms did not respond to our request. We had to contact *********** On arrival at the accommodation we found we needed an additional code to enter the lobby. After 2 phone calls this we received this code The entrance area was dreadful cigarette ends ****s etc and was badly lit. The room was very basic. The toilet made a loud noise every time u flushed it and you could not see out of the windows as they had been made opaque. This gave the room a very dark and dingy feel. It was room number 3. We don’t like to think what the other rooms are like if this was superior. The only redeeming feature was the quality of the bed and bed linen. We paid £258 for 2 nights but left after 1 night The area did not feel particularly safe especially for someone arriving on their own and faced with entrance
