First impressions when I pulled up outside were not good, exterior of the building is pretty shabby and in need of painting and tidying up.
However, stepping through the door soon put my mind at rest, the interior is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.
My standard double room was nice and spacious with a comfy bed.
Nice hot shower.
WiFi worked well.
Didn’t try the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was good.

A last minute decision to stay after a family wedding meant I didn't have any specific expectations about our stay here, but I'd read some good reviews. I do have mainly good things to say about the hotel. It has some lovely spaces inside and the Terrace at the front is such a bonus. Standards were generally high, our room comfortable, clean of course and the ensuite a good size. Communication was good, as we were arriving after midnight, and the night manager checked us in no problem. We had a slight hiccup at breakfast as our order didn't get to the kitchen and none of the staff noticed so we did have a bit of a wait, but I enjoyed my food. And I would have liked stronger coffee. I recommend staying here - for comfort, just maybe give the younger staff some support and keep on top of what's going on in the dining areas.

It's been a few years since I stayed at the Burlington Hotel, and I'm glad I came back. The hotel has changed a lot over the years, with refurbished rooms and a lift installed. The staff are really friendly and check in and check out was quick. My room was quite big and had everything I needed. It was a little strange having a sandblasted (blurry) glass window where I couldn't see out. I also couldn't lock my bathroom window with the handle which wasn't ideal. The restaurant menu is a bit pricey and there weren't many options. The breakfast however was excellent. You can grab continental breakfast or order something hot from the menu. The Eggs Florentine were delicious! With a few minor improvements, I think the Burlington Hotel could be one of the best hotels on the seafront.

My husband and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the Burlington and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. The hotel holds a special place in our hearts as we met there and held our wedding reception there too. We were warmly greeted at reception and our room had been beautifully prepared and included a delightful anniversary card too. Thank you to everyone for making our anniversary so special.

I gave a rating of 4/5 because I was soo cold on my expensive room, so much so I wore the bathrobe in bed, was irritated by this as this particular room for 1 night was very very expensive. Bathroom was worse - freezing!!! Lovely lady on reception. Location of hotel is perfect, as hotel overlooks the seafront and shops are a 10 minute walk away.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great building in a good location and neat, clean and modern rooms. Breakfast options were very good quality and a good selection of hot and cold options. Overall good value and I would stay again if in the area.

My sister and I have just spent a wonderful night at this hotel. The staff were all so friendly and helpful . We had a lovely twin room and a superb meal in the restaurant, breakfast was also fabulous. Parking is free along the seafront west of Heene road. We originally come from Worthing and were visiting family. We had always wanted to stay at the Burlington and weren't disappointed. We can highly recommend and will be back . Also really good value and cheaper than the chain hotels on the seafront

My partner recently had his birthday party at the Burlington Hotel, we were a party of 37 people. The room looked lovely, buffet was delicious, staff could not do enough for us they were so attentive. Half of our guests stayed the night and all agreed that the rooms were modern and had extremely high levels of cleanliness which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel on all levels, we all had a wonderful memorable time. Thank You Michelle and all your lovely staff.

I had my 60th Birthday Afternoon Tea in the Pearl Room at the Burlington Hotel. It was the most perfect afternoon; absolutely beyond any expectations I had! The room took my breath away; it was so beautifully decorated, the food was divine; beyond 5 star! The service from every staff member was amazing. I cannot recommend The Burlington highly enough, whatever the occasion. A huge thank you to Michelle and her team.A
