The sheets were clearly unwashed. Dead bugs stuck to the wall. Noisy/ broken air conditioner / heater. Gave me room key to room already occupied. Hair and dirt on fitted sheet

Very inconvenient

When I walked the door behind the desk was open to the staff living quarters. The side walks were not safe because of the ice build up. there was no hot water for a shower. this was discovered in the morning when i went to take a shower. the light bulb was not working over the sink. Handicap bed was too tall for my wife to get into. Bathroom sink faucet handle no working correctly. The room was 40 degrees when got there, it took a couple of hour for it to get warm.

We only stayed one night. We should have left when we pulled into the parking lot and no other vehicles were there. Check in was quick with reservations. Our room was on the main level in a building away from the check in site. The door was not locked at the entrance from the outside. With further inspection we found loose wiring on the door. There was also what appeared to be blood smeared across the glass at eye level on the inside of the exterior door. Our room was the first one on the right. The wall heater was not plugged in so the room was cold and damp smelling. I plugged it in and turned it on so we could warm up. In the bathroom behind the door hung a used towel that had not been removed from the previous guest. And the door frame was peeling off and rusting. We did stay the night. The next night one in our party went back to retire for the evening. Blood still on the door, no one had been into the room to exchange towels or make the beds. Once again it was cold, she checked the heater unit and it was still turned to the on position but not working. She attempted to check the cord and said the outlet sparked and smoked, turning her palm and some fingers black. She notified the front desk. The desk person accused us of unplugging the heater and telling us that they never turn it off. She then took a space heater to the room. We refused to stay another night. So at midnight we packed and departed to find another hotel. This lady at the desk was so rude to us we don’t feel bad telling everyone we meet about our nightmare stay and how we were treated.

The tin under bedframe made a popping noise. the bathroom was not clean . Trash can was on the desk . the arrangement of room was unusual.

Our room was fine. There was a candle burning in the room when we got in. It smelled nice, but seemed strange. Went to breakfast about 7:30. It didn't seem like it was fully setup. Sign said not to take food to your room, but the tables were pushed up against the wall with the chairs in top. Also interesting sign when you check in

This is a low budget hotel, and as such it was pretty good. The breakfast service was a little dubious, but carbohydrate rich. My concern is that the inn keeper appeared to be burned out or worn out. I don't know if she is getting the help she needs, or maybe is just trying to squeeze the last nickel out of receipts. Anyway, it shows.

Room itself was good, beds were very comfortable. Property was a little shabby. Breakfast was included but poor. Waffles and toast for hot choices. There was no butter or syrup for the waffles and no sign of staff to ask about that. Juice was Sunny D. Cereal and coffee was also offered. Breakfast was taken in the cramped check in area. There was seating and tables for 3 and at least 6 of us were having breakfast at the same time.
