It was a good hotel, a bit basic, rooms (in the hall part of the hotel) need updating; not sure of the others. The restaurant good. The breakfast was good but a bit busy on one of the days.
The hotel facilities need attention. TV remote not working, the team couldn’t get it fixed easily; not ideal.

Fantastic venue and great, attentive staff. Food was great. The only downside was the gym doesn't open until 8am.

From start to finish our time here was fantastic. The team here really try and make your stay special and for a large hotel is friendly and welcoming. The reception and restaurant team get shout outs for going the extra mile to give great customer service. The hotel and grounds are fantastic and we enjoyed wandering around the woods and pathways. Our room was lovely and this made a lovely overnight stay!

Lovely hotel - great service but we were sadly kept awake by noisy wedding guests late at night ! TIP - check whether there’s a wedding on while you are staying there if you don’t want to kept awake till the wee small hours! We chose to tip the staff in cash - service charge still added to final bill which we queried and it was then removed. The hotel decided once we’d left to charge our card with the service charge! It has taken 2 weeks of phoning and emailing to finally get the charge refunded - it wasn’t the amount , it was the principle and the sheer lack of customer service - not once has anyone apologised for THEIR error - we won’t be back! Bad customer service from such a prestigious group really annoys me 😡
