It was absolutely terrible, don't go there! The hallway carpet looked like it hadn't been washed in over a decade, it was filthy and smelled awful. The elevator also smelled bad, and the room had a strong, lingering odor. I changed rooms and it was slightly better, but the bed frame was torn underneath (this was the case in several rooms). The room floor was noticeably dirty and sticky, the toilet flushing was difficult, and the bath towels, while not worth using, had yellow stains on them… everything was awful. I forced myself to sleep one night, but kept waking up itchy, probably because the bed was also unclean.

The pillowcases were dirty, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning, and I called but no one came to fix it by noon, affecting my travel experience. The facilities near Xiongchu Avenue are quite complete. Although it's a converted old campus, it's relatively new inside. The double windows provide decent sound insulation.
