"It is easy to find, and the front desk will be very patient to guide you to the parking garage, just next to the road. Breakfast coffee is all available, especially the first floor is still a restaurant, you need to book in advance. Good luck to the roadside room, as soon as it is opened, it is the castle. Double glazing and heating, surprise choice"

"We were there again in the evening for a few glasses of wine and asked if we could share a "Gerupften" (dressed Camembert) with our wine for €11.90. No problem – it came with two slices of bread. Did we want two more? Yes. These were also reasonably priced at €0.60 each – which is perfectly fine. However, they charged an additional €1.50 for the extra plate – but they don't charge for an extra plate everywhere – which was a bit of a surprise."

"Booked this hotel at the last minute and thankfully it had a wheelchair accessible room available. The room itself is very good for someone in a wheelchair, plenty of space to turn around etc. but to actually get into the hotel from the street, we needed to provide our own ramp!!!!! Yes, that's right an accessible room in a hotel needed us to happen to have a ramp in our vehicle so we could get into the building! Ridiculous. It is not a big step, but if you are in a wheelchair it might as well be a metre high."

"A wonderful stay with an unforgettable dinner. The terrace offers a beautiful view over the vineyards, especially in the evening. The braised beef cheek was one of the best dishes I had during my trip in Germany. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Mr. Menzel for his friendly hospitality, which made the evening even more memorable. I would definitely stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The style is more traditional but for me the hotel suited that. The room was a decent enough size and really clean. The air con wasn’t the best but we stayed in a few hotel in Germany during the same trip and all of them had this issue. Seems to cool down one area and not the area you sleep. Not judging harshly on this given it’s a common issue. The hotel is pet friendly which was perfect for us as we were traveling with our two Cavalier King Charles. But understand this might not be ideal for everyone so wanted to mention. Breakfast was really good. Varied choice and a good coffee machine. For 12€ it’s a great deal in my opinion. We loved the location: near the main train station; parking garages that were not expensive nearby; short walk to main attractions; close to the water. Would go back!"

"The price was okay, making it a good budget-friendly option. The location is excellent, close to attractions and public transportation. The neighborhood is quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep. However, the air conditioning was an issue. The unit wasn't functioning properly, making it uncomfortable on hot days. Despite notifying the polite staff, the problem wasn't resolved during the stay. Overall, the experience was positive. The staff was friendly, and the location and quiet atmosphere made for a pleasant stay. Fixing the air conditioning would make it an ideal budget accommodation."

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well‑maintained, and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. Breakfast offered a decent variety of choices. Minor downsides were limited storage space in the room and occasional street noise. Overall, it represents good value for money and we would consider staying again."
